I noticed he was sweating profusely. Is that normal for singers like him? I didn’t know he had dementia . My mom had end stage dementia from combination of chemotherapy and radiation therapy to treat her cancer. Earl Thomas Conley was always the most heard singer singing all of my favorites including the classics. He is so unfairly underrated while current singers can’t match up to his music and vocals. He is so sadly missed. Rest In Peace, Earl Thomas Conley.😳🥹😭

My second favorite song of his.......I’m silently crying....
Some angels walk the earth and know not that they are angels ,but we can tell
Man, how this takes me back, to a time that loving someone was as beautiful as a fireworks display on the 4th of july, if not better.😍
RIP Earl, what an influence you made in my life.

In the 80's I kept a spare cassette tape of ETC on hand ! Played them SO much that I wore them out !
These beautiful ladies are probably all grandmas now.
A #1 hit for Earl Thomas Conley on the Country & Western charts. It was the 713th #1 C&W song of the Rock Era.
Once in a blue moon I’ll do something right. And I did by listening to this great song.
That Was A Close One and Once In A Blue Moon we’re favorites of mine. What a voice he had and such a loss. Rest In Peace my friend. Country music has lost yet another major contributor.
RIP Mr. Earl Thomas Conley. Your music touched many and will continue to do so. Heaven gained an angel without the disguise.
