Slick & Rocker, seen them both live not together. Slick with DB & Rocker with Stray Cats. awesome musicians. Earl Slick wrote the riffs for golden years & Stay from Station to Station & played on entire album. one of DB's best.

Also rumoured that Earl was responsible for the "Rebel Rebel" riff, although DB claimed he played it himself. I think it has Slick all over over it. Ronson and Slick made Bowie a rock star.

As a guitarist for almost 30 years I am ashamed of never having heard of this guy- Earl Slick! Only heard of him thru now reading his biography on audible. I always thought Mick Ronson was David Bowie's guitarist and now find out he was his guitarist as of 1975. He is italian too just like so many famous guitarists.

Guys like Earl Slick, Link Ray, Billy Duffy, Paul Kossoff, Ace Frehley, and George Thorogood. Tone, Additude, Style, Coolness, and Catchy Riffs. THAT'S ROCK AND ROLL BABY! Comment on more.
