Lisa after all the dining out...would you cook some salmon at home and show how you do it yourself!

Thanks Lisa and Bill for heads up on the prime rib served at the Tavern. Tonite, My son and I ate at Tavern and each of us ordered the prime rib dinner plate. $38 is not expensive at all for the quality of the prime rib and side dishes. We would have paid much more at another restaurant for a prime rib entree and side dishes but it would not have been as delicious!

We're thinking they roast the prime rib to a Medium Rare, then grill the slices to a higher temp when ordered (medium and above). We're no back of house experts, but they're going this route for cost and reduce food waste, versus have multiple roasts cooked at different temps. That all said, it really was tasty and tender, so pretty sure it was prime grade. Thanks for watching, Daniel!

Looks like they did the wrong temp on the 2 orders the burger looked medium and the prime rib looked medium well.

Looks like the prime rib was cut then re-grilled? Maybe that's why it looks medium. Bad way to ruin that big of a piece of meat.
