With the announcement that Eamon McAnaney is taking a job that will prevent him from continuing to be the lead play by play voice for ESPNU's college lacrosse broadcasts, I put together some of his best calls in the biggest moments from the past couple of years.
Yes, that includes all of his signature catchphrases like "Time. Room. Bullseye!", "That's why they call it execution!", and "Right down insert street name street!".

I could listen to Eamon all day calling a lax game. He's the best in the business. And for those who haven't heard him cast a baseball game, he's just as good doing that.
"The last time a southpaw dropped a hammer like that in this town, Apollo Creed didn't get up" That is a genuine, all-time, sports call right there. Perfectly executed after what I'm sure was a few dozen times practicing it in the hotel room the night before.
These are some great calls by Eamon on these great plays. Some of these passing plays like Navy vs. Yale at the end are just too crazy. Eamon, you'll be missed!

Missed his entire sophomore and junior seasons due to injury. He was back this past season for his senior year, but only had 9 points in 13 games. He is back again for a 5th year as a grad student.

That's great to hear he's back. Quality young man. he coached my son a few years ago on his summer team and we think the world of him.
