Eaglet Rescue at Bald Canyon Nest! Eaglet Appears Unharmed 05.02.2024 IWS

An eaglet slipped of the nest on May 1, 2024, got stuck in the branches around the nest, and couldn’t get back up in the nest. The next day, a wildlife biologist placed a ladder against the tree and gently placed the eaglet back in the nest and it fell asleep. The parents will be back shortly to care for the eaglet, and it appears all is well.

They moved away from the nest when people showed up, but they weren’t far away. A parent came back about 30 minutes after the people left and both eaglets are doing great.
