This song is off Sabaton's very first album, their sound has massively matured since this album came out 20 years ago so I get your initial reaction of not liking it. You just have to go into it knowing that Sabaton were a young up and coming band when they made this song and a lot has changed since then.

Makes me think of the Transiberian Orchestra in the intro.
Sabaton have a history channel where they go in depth about the history and a little about the song itself this song is about the united nations and People can hate the un all they want but these soldiers don't deserve that hate they risk their lives to try and make the world a better place you can hear it in the song "will our deeds be remembered are they written on stone or in sand" or "have our brothers died in vain" they are scared because people hate the un they will also face hate and resentment which i think is unfair
