By far, this is the best r/c plane I've purchased this year!!

I fly everything, but nothing straight out of the box has ever won me over like these Eachine Warbirds. They look incredible, fly incredible, they're durable and reliable and come in many different models that all look awesome. I love collecting them as much as flying them, they really are that great.

I hear you about collecting them. It takes me a couple of weeks after I buy one to actually take it out and fly it. I just like to look at it for a while before I crash it and have to do repairs. I also enjoy doing repairs and mods. I've gotten pretty adept at fixing them up. I've even built out a broken wing using pieces of foam from Hobby Lobby and sanding it to fit and gluing it on. Great fun all around.

Beautiful location! When you put the prop back on the propsaver, make sure, that the small flat part (have a close look at the white plastic part on the propeller and you will see that the part, that pops in the 3 claws of the retainer, is not completely round ) is between 2 of the prop holder claws. This prevents the prop from falling off during flight. You also will find out, that in mid mode the plane can do 2 or even more rolls, wenn you pull it up hard on the elevator and then move the stick fully to right or left and hold it a bit. These little planes are awesome. They're durable, fast, and easy to fly. Not only that, they've made the RC airplane hobby accessible to all. It used to be very expensive to get into flying RC airplanes. I'm hoping now that it is affordable that more young people will get into the hobby. I'm also impressed with the speeds you can achieve with a little 10mm electric motor.

Okay this might be the most scenic review location ever and two reviews in the same year?😁👍

There's a v2 now. Clear canopy with pilot, much improved paint scheme and details, bigger battery compartment, improved transmitter/receiver, and redesigned much improved landing gear.

Great display - On my channel I get fly over the White Cliffs of Dover with the Eachine Spitfire, P51, T28 and Corsair plus a modified P51 with a built in camera. These are just great little planes. I have not had any failures only a few pilot errors! Please keep up these great videos.

Excellent. What stunning scenery and it really makes the most of the model when making low passes. The model is brilliant also. Excellent work.

Great review. I have many of these, perfect for low-risk flying. Lot of fun. Great trainers too. I actually enjoy flying these low in the stronger winds. Good idea as you say to power-off when crashing to save the prop from a break. Also power up whilst holding the plane to make sure the prop is on, as you demo later on. The prop savers will last quite a few times of the props coming on and off. I just glue my props together with a contact adhesive to tack on, then epoxy sleeve to hold firm. Great to hear you so enthusiastic.

what's the difference between the eachine and the volantex, I only ask because everyone is talking about the eachine, aren't they similar planes???

@@knightrider3766 mine is actually a volantex, my p51 is a eachine. I can’t tell the difference component wise between the two. I’m guessing they are the same, just different sellers with the same manufacturer

@@knightrider3766 yes! They fly incredibly well in full and even partial stabilization mode. They can be trimmed up with a bit of fine tuning and flown without any stability assist, but that would be for a more advanced pilot. They can be bought for around $100 USD and I feel like they are worth it. As I said, I own the P51, the F4U, and they have a T28, a BF109, and a spitfire. I heard something about maybe a zero as well?? I will own them all at some point, my next purchase is an Arrow’s Bigfoot. Hope this helps! Happy flying!!

Yes i have to agree with you this little plane packs a massive punch i got mine june 2020 it's 1 of the best things i have bought it just so stable when it's flying no matter what mode you have it set to It's so impressive easy to assemble 10 mins your flying the beginner mode is excellent i can't recommend it enough i fly more expensive and bigger planes on pro mode,but this plane blew me away it so cool,even if you are a beginner this makes you look good what a great piece of kit i have the P51 mustang had to buy it,this is the best review on KZread of this plane well done absolutely awesome review thank you for posting oh by the way did you pay import duty on your parcel, Tigger awesome review,para

I need to get this plane. Already have the other two in the series. You inspired me to finally take my mustang p51 out of the box and fly it today. Was so easy. Not much different than flying a non altitude hold non gps quadcopter.

You are late to the table with these Tigger. But your effort exactly caught the joy and fun factor of these little Volantex Warbirds for fliers of all skill levels. We have them all (and most of the rest of the V761 family) and are hanging out for any more released. As shown, they fly brilliantly even in a fair breeze! If you're doing any more of them you might want to show the gyro level recalibration and servo reversing that can be done before motor arming. That (and the v761's one real fault - no motor failsafe) can catch a lot of folks out! They also have the toy quad RTH function that I just know you are dying to try out. :D The toy Tx only comes in Mode 2 but is usable and has more than enough range for LOS flying but the V761 protocol on a good multi radio ups the experience even more. Colouring the props to suit your flying environment IS a must since, as you noted, black is not easy to find. Our props have been surprisingly durable so you must have hit the rocks pretty hard! Like to have seen the confetti storm if that had been an EPS plane like the Champ. ;-) The lego prop attachment will wear eventually and you may be tempted to glue the prop in. Best to avoid anything solid like Superglue (might try something like a little dab of rubbery goo) or that 10x20 motor will spit the motor pinion. The 11-tooth brass pinion is hard to come by but you can find sets of plastic ones for quads to suit. (Might need boring/reaming out from 1mm to 1.2mm to suit.) Looking forward to more vids from your Highland locale. :-)

Looks like great fun and I can't believe what you get for the money! I used to fly a lot in years past - building planes from kits. This is VERY tempting to try. They say on the directions to have the transmitter on first and then plug in the plane. Does it matter?

It could be a silly question, but which of the 3 warbirds (Corsair, Trojan, P51) flies the best in stability, aerobatics etc?. I've had the F22 and found it terrible. Excellent scenery and flying by the way 😎

My mini Corsair is having an issue with the motor shutting off mid flight. Also sometimes on initial battery connection and power up the throttle seems to cross talking with the ailerons. Anybody else have this problem? Or know of a fix?

You're so funny. Thanks for this video. You're a perfect pilot, I think no one can fly those little birds in expert mode in those windy conditions. They're just too touchy for that. It gave me so much fun and delightment to hear some familiar-sounding, positive scottish voice in these day and age. :/ Took this as the main introduction-video for my kids for this F4U plane ,I gave them this Xmas - All the best from germany, three thumbs up :D Stay healthy.
