Vegito power is limited to time because the more power used the time gets cut for it (Zamasu vs Vegito) While gogeta they can burn more energy without the drawback So from my point of view gogeta would burn the timer for vegito by pushing them to there limit

@@jj_grabes to be fair that was in GT and as so many people like to point out “GT isn’t canon” so that point doesn’t stand for Gogeta at least maybe Gotenks but it was never stated to be the same for Gogeta. Though this is just stating the defense point yes you are right Gotenks did have a power limit but again this is dbz and unless it’s explicitly stated that something applies to a certain character usually means it’s in a grey area. So I’m not gonna say your wrong about the power limit for Gogeta but I’m not Gonna say you’re right about it either Now if you were specifically taking about SSJ4 Gogeta then ignore everything I said but if you’re taking about SSB Gogeta then this applies to him

You do know that Akira Toriyama shot himself in the foot with that too right? Originally, the Potara wasn't permanent because Vegeta and Goku weren't Shin race, then they retconned that, and made it a power problem. 2nd, if I remember correctly, the fusion dance also screwed Gogeta in DBZ, because the amount of energy they used reduced the time of the fusion. Fusions are the most inconsistent plot point in Dragonball.... They are cool as hell, but there is a very good reason fusions are rare, and only really used by weaker, reckless kids. Because it's a Deus ex Machina for bad writers.

@@asriel3564 seeing as both have canon and noncanon iterations and the way they work is always getting retconned or rephrased for story purposes I look at it this way. Following the current logic and going off current power: vegito has more power but the highest he could go is regular blue before turning is multi-day fusion into a few minutes. Way longer than against zamasu due to the sheer increase in power from goku and vegeta in the sagas afterwards. Gogeta on the other hand could go ultra instinct or blue evolution kaioken and without too much of an issue and would be able to keep up with vegito, but going 101% would break the fusion same with gotenks. But no storyboards telling them to unfuse and just having them go at it till one wins? Canonically the earings give a higher base power multiplier so a blue evolution vegito with kaioken would be objectively stronger than gogeta doing the same. Tldr: current canon? Gogeta. No rules? Vegito.

The only problem I have with the "SS4" mode in GT, and SS4 Gogeta, is that SS4 is not a Super Saiyan form. It's a Super Ozaru form. It's power is derived from perfecting the Great Ape power of Saiyans. 2nd, SS4 Gogeta is actually SS5. When Goku and Vegeta transform individually into SS4, neither of them have red hair, or wild Hair like Gogeta. They basically keep their own hair style, or gain Super Saiyan hair Spikes. But Gogeta has wild, blood red hair. But do I think it is as powerful as God form?......maybe not. But it could have very interesting applications if Akira Toriyama tries to make this form Canon.

The hair of Gogeta SS4 was made "Blood Red" b/c if it was black, he would have just looked like SS4 Goku so the creators made his hair red and wild to make a difference in characters. :P

Base is black, ss1 is spikey blonde, ss2 is spicier blonde, ss3 is long spikey blonde, ssg is red, ssgb is spikey blue, ssgb evolved is spicier blue, an UI is silver/white......but "ss4" Gogeta gets red hair, when none of the other Gogetas change the hair color of their transformations, and it's still only ss4? I call bs. Considering neither Trunks or Goten can go ss2 on their own, but once they fuse, they can magically skip ss2, and go full ss3. Then it's not impossible that ss4 gogeta is actually ss5 gogeta, and the writers are morons

@@de606returns6 My headcanon has always been that SSJ4 and Blue are about even. This is how I scale them: SSJ4 =High SSG or SSB (Depending on the user) SFPSJ4 = Blue Kaioken LBSSJ4 = Blue Evolved

my take on the argument of which Gogeta is stronger, SSJ4 or SSB is this. they are from two different timelines and two different continuations from og dbz. so if we take them we have to scale both of them to essentially have a fair comparison, my opinion is that they are just as strong as each other, because for their respective continuations, they HAD to be the strongest they could be for their series main baddies. SSJ4 Gogeta had to be overwhelmingly strong to fight Omega Shenron and SSB Gogeta had to be overwhelmingly strong to beat LSSJ Broly. so thats what i think, they are both as strong as each other if we were to fairly compare them

Lets not use the "technically yt is canon because super will end with the end of z" no. Just no. Gt was made None canon once Super was announced. (Or after, I'm not good with time) and the creators cofirmed it. Why would they make gt canon again? If they redo it then it makes sense but if we use classic gt I'm afraid super would just get contradicted and all characters introduced in super would get the launch treatment

To Balkan (I can't do the @ thing because of this tablet so sorry) ssb4 is my term for ss4 + ssg. It uses the same science as ssb. Its used by going super saiyan god then going super saiyan 4 on top of it. This follows gokus explanation of blue. And yes. I'm actually missing a 0 as well, thanks for pointing it out.

So when your base form is more trained or stronger, your transformation will power up that. When i dare to compare DB Gt and DBS and see Goku base form (DBS) absolveing the training at Beerus planet with whis. I think this Goku is more trained. Also Vegeta. So logic would be if the DBS fusion is stronger aswell. However, in Heroes the time Patroler Goku and Vegeta seem to be more trained and stronger than the GT versions. So their fusion is stronger too.

both forms have the same multiplier of 1000. So your Wright in more ways than 1

GT Gogeta in SSJ4 has a hypothetical multiplier of 1600x while Super Gogeta in SSB has a hypothetical multiplier of 4 million. If they are the same power level at base... It's just not comparable. Ofc it has been shown in Heroes that SSJ4 Limit Breaker Gogeta is at the same level as Blue Evolved Gogeta or sensibly the same level but sadly Heroes is non-canon.

After you press the buttons to do the ultimate for super Kamehameha, you need to tap it again before the blast is fired. This only works for blue Gogeta though.

I mean on pure feats GT characters can get a little ridiculous. Goku shattering an entire dimension just by powering up in base form, Omega Shenron destroying the entire universe simply by standing still. Super's multipliers by form are undoubtably greater, though GT's time skips and plot convenient powerups are absolutely stupid in sheer distance. Baby in his Golden Oozaru form is anywhere from Quadrillions to Quintillions times Kid Buu and the power scale goes wild from there with Super 17 and the Shadow Dragons.

I never understood the using your energy to make an attack then absorbing it, like you expel energy and somehow it powers up outside of your body? it doesn't make any sense because couldn't you just charge up your ki instead in the anime and it'd be 10x better than doing an attack just to absorb it?

I think Ki is supposedly a construct too, so the excess Ki from the attack is combining with the already existing ki in the users body, kinda like how in the Android 13 movie Goku absorbed the Spirit Bomb. I could be wrong though I'm mostly theorizing here,
