Can't believe they added a morality system to a Behemoth game. It's kinda funny going in online play and seeing if the other players are gonna kill them or not.

If you spare them all, the last guard becomes JuiceMan out of pride, to prove to his general he is able to defeat the alien, but if you kill them all, even if you spare the guard that is crying to his friends loses, he becomes JuiceMan by complete accident, but he will use his new powers for revenge, he wants you dead for killing his friends, so he will try kill you even if he dies. In conclusion, no matter what way you choose to get through the guards, he will still try to kill you.

Yup. The path is the same, but many still asked the question what if it is done different what is outcome- I did do a whole take on showing what if you kill first two and skip the other two or just kill one of them and skip the rest

so after you spare them they get fired, huh.................

I don't quite understand what you mean, that is, kill everyone except Juiceman? Well, you will kill him anyway during the battle with him as a boss.

@@pascalbatronic They meant if you get killed by juiceman after killing all the guards a unique cutscene will play, ofc the whole chapter need to be replayed again- so take one defeat for a cutscene

When I was listening to the soundtrack, it mentioned sparing the agents... So I figured these cutscenes existed! Shame a small part of the player base will experience them, tho Also interesting bit I found with these cutscenes, is that in the kill cutscenes we see an unknown agent mourning the past 4 agents on watch duty. But in the spare cutscenes, it was Bill who became Juiceman, and infront of the general no less.

Oh interesting ill listen to the soundtrack later on, got so busy just playing did not get time to chill and listen to it. In case true small part of player base will not experience the spare part since "if see agent KILL!!" xD I might had not knew about this if i did not overplayed the beta- since back then i already realize you can skip without kill and it been bugging my mind since then "what if" so glad they had a different outcome "in sense"

I like how there is a difference of music ambience when you spare all of them vs kill all of them. When you kill all of them the music is much more eerie and creepy but if you spare all of them. The music becomes more close to an action theme with no creepy ambience.

I liked how the cutscenes changed depending on whether we killed the guards or not.

@@christianwright7581 okay, so i did notice when i was doing a no shop run that blast door closed and reopen/closed and fully open again- which did not happen when i did the spare or kill edit - so it might had been a bug? i only saw this once out the 6 times i completed the game so far / unless it was after the boss fight but so far what you mention i only notice once

Yeah I could but the thing is the orginal game when it appeared was in metal slug 1996 a run an gun arcade game. Never did check but when I did it doesn't really show the name of the voice actor.

​@KarmaRave killing one guard automatically makes it the first route where he is depressed and drinking the mutation juice mourning the dead of fellow agents.. The difference is you will only see one portrait if you only killed one. Regardless, Juice man will always show up no matter what.

Bros mech was outdated by 1999 and was experimental and a prototype and made with the worst materials

Odd thing is that on my game, the first two (Jim and Joe) died even though I didn't kill them. I do remember however that I also played second player in co-op with a friend on his save where he did kill them both. I'm guessing there is a bug that mixes save data (this is the Nintendo Switch version).

I think it does override the save. Because if you think like this, if you play co op with someone get to chapter 3 you will be at chapter 3 when you solo. SO I do assume, if you didnt kill the first two guards and then joined another person and killed them and went back to the solo lobby it will register as killed (I can be wrong, Ill test it but it going be tested on pc and unsure if that will be helpful but either way ill try it and see what happens still± seems like a fun experiment)

@@KarmaRave to better explain the scenario: I first started the game alone on my Switch with my own profile, and beat the first two bosses and got to Mission 03. Later my friend wanted to start a game on my Switch we added a new local account to the system (not connected to his Nintendo account) to play it. I joined him as P2 on his file and he killed Jim (first guard) and we beat the boss. Later we got to boss 2 he killed Joe (second guard), but we died and he had to restart Mission 02 and stopped there (I'd also like to add I did a similar thing on my solo Mission 01, killed Jim first time, died, but then spared him the second time). Later on when I went back to my solo game at the gates for boss 3 the memorials for both Jim and Joe were present, even though I had never killed Joe at any point in my playthough. I never killed guards 3 and 4 (Bob and Bill I think?), and my friend didn't get to them yet. When I got to Juice Man, no memorials for them were present (Jim's and Joe's were still there). While I'm not really familiar with this game's programming my guess is that each guard becomes permanently flagged as dead if they have been shot once, regardless whether or not you die and start over, and that this persists for all games for users sharing the same console. I am also wondering if this is a problem exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. While it's nothing game-breaking, it may still be worth reporting as a bug.
