How many times can we prestige a fighter?

I went from div 20 down to div 13 back up to div 20 in a day lol.

When you prestige, do you lose anything

I’ve heard that there might be a bug that’s preventing certain moves from being thrown. I’ve also heard of other people complaining about the same issue. You might also need a certain star level up punch speed/power

I’m #2 on Xbox online career. As someone who’s actually good at the game the power meta in the game is so annoying. Everyone has backfist looping cross but what I’ve found is just having more fun and making new styles. Having a max power caf is cheesier than being able to pull of the spinning strikes in UFC 5 in my eyes and will not make u a better player. Just learn how to use multiple levels of the game and mix it up.

I just like to play the game like it’s real life and it stays fun. I like to use the more advanced moves and harder combos but it’s so annoying when you lose to someone spamming back fists and hooks

I've been entirely disappointed with online career mode so far. I enjoy a full fight, not an accelerated clock, sprint of a fight. I'm paired with opponents that are levels above my 2-3 star fighter, so they know I have lower block strength, cardio, everything, so they blitz me. With the fight being as fast as it is, there's no reason for a strategic, calculated, or technical fight. The higher level blitz opponents know my fighter will be done after round 1, even though I'm blocking, swaying, countering, using push kicks, etc, as much as possible. They'll just continuously throw strikes 😂. I'm no slouch at this game, I've been able to pull off a few upsets, but when you're using a high school skill level fighter against Jon Jones... it ain't workin' out. I enjoy the game, I like the other online modes, custom matches, etc, but issues like the online career really bring it down.

I’m not sure, you may need to look into the perks. Or maybe just need to get you’re top game to a certain star level!

@@ZinkzillaKZread You can't currently, grappling is broken and none of the moves level up or progress. you can have a 5 star submissions, but only the 1 star move-set is available. Take downs (single or double leg) don't even progress past 1 star. Because of this advance grappling is not available in Online Career mode. No Crucifix, no Rubber Guard, no flying submission or backpack submissions, and in clench grappling only the ankle-pick is available as a take down. This has been bugged since pre-release beta testing and it was rolled out bugged at best or as an incomplete game mode at worst.

this game is so hard. im a level 7 and I've only played offline career. my guy is obviously dog shit rated and im in div 2 and im only getting matched with crazy high level rated guys with crazy power and moves so im not getting ANY evo points. im 0-15. i don't understand how players are meant to get going, im really trying hard to have fun with this but its getting harder. and I know about distance management and head movement I actually do okay at surviving for a round maybe against these guys but its literally impossible to win. is this how it is for everyone?

I see where you are coming from bro! My recommendation would be to practice a little bit in regular online ranked or even quick fights online. I only started seeing improvements after I started Playing online. Let me know if you want ti see certain tutorial videos or If you want an in depth breakdown on my style. I am not a perfect player by any means and I still lose fights in some cheesy ways, it is just how this game works unfortunately. Hope this helps :)

So what's your opinion on the fact that grappling and submission skills don't level currently in Online Career mode. I also understand that striking animations aren't leveling up either. Online Career mode is currently unplayable by anyone who wants to grapple.

Also, be careful is you decide to prestige your character. It will increase your max available points cap so Instead of 1000 the cap moves up to 1100, but if you decide to remove skill points to delete the character, the base 1000 EV points you spend to prestige are not refunded. learned this the hard way

​@robertstone4998 I also didn't pay attention I thought if I prestiged you just got an extra 100 to spend I didn't realize it reset the moves and stats and puts all moves back at level 1 To me it wasn't worth it for an extra 100 points

My main tip would be to focus on just moving and staying calm. Those types of players want you to stand still and trade strikes with them. You have to make it a slow paced fight and use your pace to slow theirs.
