Hope they add more seasons into career mode because finishing the game in 2037/2038 doesn’t fit right. Retirement should come once the player reaches 40 or 40+ (my player career mode) as for manager they should make it to an age where the manager can manage till their 60s look at Carlo Ancelotti😅

Cpu vs cpu career mode would be nice, can actually be a manager.

Gameplay will still probably be just like other years. Trailers always look a million times better. I also find that most of the player/game changes only apply if you use the world class players. For those of us who use DIV3 teams and like to build them up, we don’t see any difference.

It feels different at launch but then gets patched back.

I love the idea of playstyles, will have to see the implementation but I enjoy superstar abilities in Madden and badges in 2K

hoping Opta helped add stat tracking to the game too. I'd love to see which clubs a player was previously at and their goals/games played!

Sorry, a bit of a side track about the recent Hollywood strike. I had an experience with Motion Capture and voice acting and have to say even though gaming industry is a colossus these days, voice over actors and mo cap performers are not fully considered 'equal' talent as traditional actors. What's really interesting right now is that the mainstream, 'regular' actors demand royalties for their digital likeness when it's used on new projects they are not technically involved with. Something MoCap actors could relate to...I guess the movie studios figured that their 'creative accounting' and sometimes cruel contracts/ NDA's would go unnoticed into this new era of streaming. They were wrong, preparation is everything and they were completely ill prepared for this new platform of entertainment. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in the new Resident Evil games :)

We don’t want to play the pay-to-win Ultimate Team and instead want to live out our fantasies and improve our favourite teams and players how we see fit. But you’re right. Career mode doesn’t make EA money like Ultimate Team does, so they’ll likely never try as hard to improve it

Obviously its gonna be OP. Costlier the player, more the playstyles in your ultimate team. If you dont pay, your defender can’t tackle an attacker. Pay enough and now you have a defender that steals the ball perfectly to set up a counter.

Nice to see that cut backs are still in the gameplay as shown in the trailer. Just want a game where the servers don't constantly crash or lag out, a realistic career mode where managers get sacked and moved around, realistic transfers, different players in UT promos, less promos and stop changing pack prices and the untradeable packs. The game has always had potential to be better but everytime the constant changes in game during updates mess other things up. Eg bald Darwin Nunez for 2 months, Drogba came out as Maldini or whoever.

Maybe is not the servers. I don't know if you use wireless internet or cable. But wireless is never made for gaming online and will never be strong enough for online gaming. With cable wired internet you have a better chance to not lose connection while playing

Looking at Haaland running with his hands swinging left to right shows just how fast he is as that method is slowing him down in a sprint considerably. Then again most footballers run in a similar way with shorter steps than upright full stretch in a straight line technique

There's absolutely no difference between a 85 GK and a 90 plus GK. the both make the same mistakes, bad dives, and easy save goals repeatedly

I hope there are expressions of mouth from the players both when celebrating or when they are angry, and the style of celebration when a goal is there is a feature that can choose the celebration

Last time the pitch did not look an oversaturated overexposured eyehurting big mess was fifa 21. Going back to play that game the visual is so much better for eyes. Clean and nice picture.

Add something like off the ball formation of the team, with the ball formation. Like coaches tend to do in real life. Right back playing as centre back and one full back bombarding flank. These additions would be great for the game.

you can make it in the game. there are "ultra defensive, defensive, normal, offensive, ultra offensive" tactical styles that you can swap trough them in the game

@@DeKuTx That's not what he meant, he means that when you lose the possession of the ball, or regain it, your formation changes the way you want. Let's say you would like to play 5-2-3 when you do not have the ball and need to defend, but when you regain possession, your middle center-back will be higher up the pitch like a CDM/CM so you play in a 4-3-3 formation. That's a realistic thing and should deifinitely be added into the game. It's gonna be hard in Ultimate Team, but they at least have to add this to Career Mode.

I want to suggest a feature. You may add the controller shock if goalkeepers make a save against power shoot. That might bring a bit excitement.

I remember playing pass Fifas and the finesse shots used to be stunning. Last year's new engine kind of stripped the fun from it and I find myself taking more power shot and regular ones instead. Please adjust the curving on regular shots ( Not Freekicks). I saw a clip in there with nice curving so I'm putting my hopes up. GG :)

Hey for tournament customisation to make it really make your own, maybe in a later update in the game you could customise the scoreboard, sponsors across the stadiums , have your own fonts and graphics could make a custom tournament fun to play with u and you’re friends

More emphasis on formations and fluid formations would be great - would be interested to see Fluminense’s radical formation represented in the game

Tbh what they need to do is include more detailed tactical options, capabilities to train a player to the playstyle you want like John Stones or Trent this season being CDM's by pushing up when it's time to jointhe midfield, perfect player positioning and rotation AI , improve defensive AI and goalkeepers(bring back the fifa 22 goalies they were hard to score past atleast when the game dropped before patches)

The playstyles are completely pointless if there is one playstyle that is way better than everything else as it always was. It would be nice if it was balanced and every playstyle has its strenghts and weaknesses but I doubt the manage to implement it that way. I fear this game will be even more pay to win than its predecessors.

I have been begging to have every game to feel different and unique. In career mode, be it a league match, a play off final, cup final, local derby against rivals, they all feel the same. Every game is a full stadium, large away followings even midweek with large traveling distance.

I just hope they add a bit more to career mode and pro clubs Like for career mode you’ll see mangers get sacked, team of the year and ballon dor ceremony, own and create your own club, make your own formations and allow us to be more creative with our tactics and formations, longer seasons maybe 20 season, interviews and meetings with our pro players ( player career ), different trophy celebrations and parades ( literally every time you win it looks the same, whether it’s a friendly trophy or the World Cup/UCL they all look the same ), and more For pro clubs just make the level system balanced and add cross play between PlayStation and Xbox it would make queuing up so much easier on top of Playing with friends.

my man, all of that and more can be done in like a 6 month time with that big of a company. EA could literaly make the best career you can possibly imagine, just look at alex hunter career from fifa 17-19. We never had the same ammount of customization, cutscenes or voice lines. The way ea works is get all these ideas, and then add only 5% of them all every year, so that they can announce something new in every other game. If they did add everything and make a perfect game, it just wouldnt be worth making new ones, since one would be already perfect and nobody would buy new ones. As for fut, we literaly had more content in fifa 16, there were trades and more. Im not saying it was better, because it clearly wasnt and fut rn is much more enjoyable, but they intentionally make their games worse (or better, they do not utilise all the potential) to sell more. Its a shame but its reality.

I honestly wish they would make managers in career mode speak at least, this thing of just reading doesn’t make sense, they could just create whatever voice or we can choose so we can at least hear something. That’s my take though

If they had this technology when Ronaldinho was at his prime they might have captured something worth capturing.

The problem with these signature animations is that now every goal those players score are going to be that style. Haaland can never take a normal goal with the inside of his foot, because it's most likely always going to be some crazy flying Judo kick. Once new animations make it into the game it's just overkill. They always try too hard. No thanks.

All I want is better tackling mechanics, better defensive AI and defenders who able to read the game and make proper interceptions. The attacking is already OP while the defending has remained underwhelming and neglected for years!

Are you joking? It's the exact opposite! Defensive AI is unbelievably overpowered that's why everyone just parks the bus and counters. Attacking AI is dead bar a few full meta players. You literally have to L1 trigger your forwards otherwise they'll just drop deep and daydream.

@@KYNG__AL No it's hard to do so, trust me, because EA will lost a huge amount of money trying to improve the graphics, and doing real crowd footage, like 80k real people footage would need a 64 GB VRAM at least (if each model is originally modeled, I'm a bit hyperbolic), and hardware can only render things like that for vids not for games, so, if they go like that the game won't potentially be playable.

I hope that when you get older in career mode but still have high overall that not only big clubs will offer to buy you because of your overall, but also smaller clubs, like how Ronaldo and many others went to Saudi League.

Woow, the dofference is huge Last year version was Fifa 23 and this year FC 24 i mean that is what you call an upgrade, but the gameplay is the same which is not important

They should do a career mode where you can pick a year from the the past 20 years and play with the old players again, I just want FIFA 07-14 vibes

@@walacealivex Sim, eu uso slides também (do operation sports ou do fonts) mas mesmo assim, ainda somos reféns dos updates da EA e tem hora que o jogo fica mais rápido, mais patinação no gelo...aí você vai lá e diminui a velocidade e daí a zaga da IA não acompanha mais a linha de ataque, sobretudo os pontas...enfim, arruma de um lado, bagunça de outro

It really just looks like they added some new animations but that it's the same exact thing but with fancy words for it. But we'll see how it plays. Would be huge if you see the great players stand out at what they're really great at. The play styles basically sounds like superstar factors in Madden. Honestly I'm a fan. It makes it more arcadey for sure but at the end of the day it's a video game and it helps certain players stand out like I said at what they're good at. Hopefully it'll look noticeably better on frostbite.

I'm hoping that this new play styles feature makes for more fun and enjoyable gameplay than in recent years, although I'm gonna have to wait until I play it to judge if it is. I would also like to see the play styles applied to YA players in CM, along w/ like maybe a way to develop new play styles for players that don't have a specific one at the start?

To sum it up: HypermotionV - more animations Play styles - enhanced traits (moving more towards meta 🙄) Frostbite engine - more “detail” and “better animation” that no one will be able to tell has changed

I really hope defending is a little better in 24. In Fifa 23, it’s very difficult on Legendary difficulty to jockey and time the tackle perfectly. There needs to be some assistance from Ai that once u time it in a certain time span (maybe like 0.3 seconds) u can still make the tackle. Also on legendary, the intelligence of your players shouldn’t diminish. The intelligence of the Ai should. It’s very frustrating when ur players just stand there while the AI passes like prime iniesta.

I’m going to wait on & see what other deep dives for EA FC 24. I really hope they’ve changed a lot about career mode & give us more to play around with it. Especially the youth academy and stadium building!

Will the defenders actually do something in this one or will the ball just keep magically teleporting to the attackers legs?

I want a more realistic and longer career mode where the stats are saved from each and every player even if they are playing under you or a player you are trying to sign

The hypermotion V seems cool if it is what they say it is. Live and lifelike animation capture from real games is a significant improvement especially if it is updated in real time and every player (or at least the major well known players) has a realistic player motion profile specific to them. Having players move, dribble, pass, shoot, tackle, dive, and defend like they do in real life would be cool to see as a football fan and control as a gamer. But if it's false/overly advertised it will just be another disappointment from EA. If EA's record is anything to go by they are probably overly advertising it, but maybe this year they want to make a better impression since they lost their fifa naming rights.
