The whole event was a shambles, if a game has this many bugs there needs to be a flashback feature for sim racing purposes in case this shit happens

As much as i think you guys are crazy good and do work for it all day, i really cannot take F1 esports any serious. The game is pure shit and won't ever be esports ready.

I remember watching it live and was like "wtf is he doing?" because we didnt know why he went inters and the whole cast was like "yeah this doesnt seem like the best strategy". I think he was actually on track to win the race like a couple seconds ahead of everyone even with the inters for a long time but obviously he lost it all when the slicks turned alive. Makes a lot more sense that it was a "bug"

I've got a question regarding the recent cars in the game. I haven't played since f1 22 however ive noticed recently on 23 content thst the liveries will be correct, however the car and the steering wheel will be default despite having the correct livery. Is there an explanation?

I think its kinda funny that because its the my team car steering wheel and the character has the mercedes wheel animation he's trying to press buttons that dont even exist lol the designer really did not do a good job with this one

What’s the reasoning for not going up to 8th gear?

The games have been shit for the boxing issue for sure, but it was ultimately Longuet's fault. All of the drivers know how the programming works. As soon as you enter the box, you are locked out of changing the tires as you're in the "pitting sequence". It is just how they chose to do pitting. Definitely need an option to turn off suggested strategies however Longuet could have easily prevented that. Unless it was the case of something else entirely, which is a bug, in which it just puts you on a completely different tire than you selected. He needed to do what Jarno was doing, accepting the horrible strategy given by the engineer then immediately switching it manually. Unless of course it was a last second pop up that he could not react to, then I would be mistaken.

jarno said that the option appeared just before he entered the pits so I dont think it would been possible to pick the right tires while trying to keep someone behind you on that final banked corner

So I'm a little confused on what happened. We all know that you have to choose your new tyre before you enter the pits otherwise the game will put you on God knows what. Did Nico choose slicks and the game then put him on inters or did Nico forget to choose slicks and the game put him on inters? Because if he didnt select slicks before pit entry, it's on him 100%

it really is annoying with the automatic tyre strategy.

horrible stuff...ever since ea took over the games are getting less and less impressive i think an easy fix for high downforce tracks would be maybe adding a slider up to 60 front wing,so the maximum rear wing can still have some oversteer... because i always run like 6-8 more front than rear wing in 2023 and when i go to monaco or zandvoort i have to reduce my rear wing to achieve the oversteer,its not ideal

I watched everything live in Twitch, the setup of fanatec was trash as the screen was freezing for the entire tournament. They really did try to slow us ( mercedes ) and some others down
