Attacking should be the least of your concerns. I suggest you work on your defense first. Defending is by far the hardest skill to master in any FIFA game. You aren’t just dealing with your opponents playing style but you are also trying to defend against the BS game mechanics and game breaking glitches this game offers.

Hey Neal, been playing this game a VERY long time ( not competitively ) In managerial mode ( be nice I know its not as difficult, but it is for me ) my players who're on the ball get closed down too quickly for me to utilize creative runs. These other tips are extremely useful and appreciated, I didnt even know about player lock, HA! learn something new everyday. Anyways, cheers. From this FIFA boomer. lol

EA will fix it eventually but it’s kind of a bummer to see everyone dribble like Messi and hazard. It might not feel like it but visually on these videos everyone can dribble in circles like they are hazard

Appreciate the videos bro. One tip that would improve your content. Use 0.5 speed for gameplay clips. The examples go by too fast and I’d bet most people have to pull the video back. I think you’d get more traction and views this way

Fr. I don't understand it at all! I stopped playing last year because it got so bad. But i have better internet now, and it's still not really helped. Most games are pretty bad.. I watch a lot of others play, and their "bad" games, are like a standard game for me.. you scale that out. Not using a pay to win team makes it such a struggle. The game is more pay to win, and connection based than ever. And is getting almost as swetty as Fortnite now with less casuals progressively playing.. the meta abuse is insane. Keeps the lights on for now! But destroys the longevity of the game..be warned you rats. Abused often go on to abuse. The more you do it, the worse it gets...

The fact that they added women in the same game as men just made it stupid! 1) is there any tips you can give me for better gameplay? I have better internet now, but still struggle even with wired. I have crossplay off, but still on a PS4. Am i still being matched with PS5 players? Most games just feel awful.. Particularly in champs. I also feel like these kids are using loan glitches or something. Because games showing better ping, don't always result in better gameplay. Often my AI acting like dumbasses, and any manual input is horribly delayed or i get glitched through. Seen it happen to others. But i got instances of it happening to me with like 3 players on the trot.. 2) how do i defend corners? It feels impossible without being constantly out- pid. Had some games where it is just relentless. And the cut-back meta worse than ever. Struggle to defend that also when my team are just acting like morons. Some games i just cant win a ball from a corner my players aint reacting the same. Could be connection issues still, some games are okay, but pretty bad on the whole for me..

EA FC 24 is too difficult. EA is pushing players away by making the gameplay too difficult in the name of making the game "more realistic". The AI for defender responses is too slow yet forwards are faster. Defending is super problematic. I play at best Division 3/2 in FIFA 23 Seasons but can't get passed Division 7 on EA FC. I tried fiddling with Game Settings, Control Settings and Team Management Settings, I can't get my game on. There's definitely something wrong with the game Programming, it can't be me. Losing 5 matches in a row in Division 8. Nahh.

I was rank 164 on Fifa 22, Fifa 23 came out and as trash as it was i managed to hit elite division smoothly but i struggled in elite division A LOT, in this ugly ass game though EA FC on God it has nothing to do with trying to make the game realistic cuz the defenders irl aren’t mentally retarded the defending AI in this game is beyond garbage, and the second man press is so braindead OP, I am used to control the defenders from past games sometimes you literally control the defender to take the ball the defender literally goes over the ball and the attacker just keeps walking in a straight line without losing the ball, what people do is that they don’t even control the defender they just hold the second man press and the defender jockeys around and very close to you perfectly. The passing in this game is unreal, I aim for someone and the ball goes to someone else completely, and oh my the attacking in this game, the attackers AI is crippled, no one utilizes free space, everyone is lost on the field.. i just can’t get used to playing this game with all the bugs and glitched, the cut back glitch is the most bs ever, you know what your opponent wants to do for 30 seconds and you still can’t defend against it, this game is the literal meaning of garbage

Yeah, used to plav div 1 quite comfortably in FIFA 23, but this year I'm struggling to the point where there is no enjoyment for me playing anymore, and every game is the same game. I like to play down the middle which is a no go zone this year.

Outside the box goals are only possible with the ASSISTED shooting option. This does not work for precision. ASSISTED does not work in the box as it is too slow and easily saved. Precision is better in my opinion but you have to be spot on there no room for error.

I’m really struggling this year! Was Div 1 player last year but this one I can’t get out of Div 7, literally can’t get a win 😢 I have tried all sorts

Try be more patient and keep sending runners so you can create the space and their defenders will defend the runs so you run into space and trigger someone else to make the run and always be patient

@@halifaxfcht22 I really try to be patient but it still doesn’t seem to work for me, always seem to be Getting rushed all the time, and I never have space to pass to a player even when trying to create space, I know the defending is all over the place atm so I think the only with to over come winning games is obviously to score more goals but just struggling to create really frustrating! I need hope 🤣

I battered nearly everyone in rivals, got myself up to Div 6. Went to the play offs for champs, went 1-9. It was the worst fifa experience I think I’ve ever had. Not that I was playing bad, or that my opponents were that much better, the team fell apart COMPLETELY. There was 0 passing options, no one was pressing to win the ball, everything got intercepted, it was ridiculous and there was nothing I could do. Even changing tactics did nothing

Cut-back goal is the most anoying form of attack ever. Its not even a cut back. Its just Left stick dribling in to the box and then a pass,. Should make passes in the OP box manual or something. Alot litteraly only look to score that way. Btw. 4:04 The keeper should hold/ catch more balls. Give away to many corners

It’s literally the most unskilled way to play the game but I’m convinced that EA purposefully makes the games cater to unskilled people. More unskilled people remaining competitive = more sales. That cut back 💩 used to get cut out easily by the AI as it should back in the FIFA 12, 13 days when the game was miles more skill based.

PvP mode the computer will literally watch a player dribble to the goal while your struggling to click on to the right person….like they will STAND THERE AND JUST WATCH! imagine if in madden your LB’s just watched the running back get to the second level, then your safeties just watched him score from there…..THAT IS FIFA

I did manage to hit elite division a couple of days ago and i win 16/17 games every champs, so i am far from a bad player dude, but i can’t neglect the fact that this game is garbage and spaghetti coded
