Love the n52 content. The oil pan gasket is indeed a time consuming and difficult job, especially without a lift!

ramps are a no-go for a pan gasket

I have a leak on my 128 as well, the leak only comes out when i park after usage of the car but will only leak a little bit. The color of fluid is light clear brown or maybe yellowish, and it’s most likely from oil pan but i wanna make sure if it’s also not a tranny fluid, how do I know if it’s a tranny fluid? The leak is coming out between the front and middle of the car. Also my car is also a manual 128i. Car also just got an oil change 300miles ago, so it could be that the oil is still clear.

no idea, fill plug regulated.

Not a fun job. I did the oil pan gasket on my E90 on jackstands in my garage. When it came time to do it in my E82 I just paid a man. It was money well spent.

yep, I do these for people because they money is good enough, but it is a shit job. I don't enjoy them
