hi. great video but please tell, i've changed egr and now sometimes it has vacuum and sometimes it doesn't. i believe it is solenoid? can it be changed without taking inlet off.? it's x3 2007 3.0d160kw. thanks

no not that one, it sits the other side of the manifold near the back of the engine, manifold must come off.

Brilliant video dude. What were your symptoms? Did replacing that fix it? I was watching this video as a guide to remove and replace both pressure converters and the electrical valve on a pre lci 535d as I thought the electric valve was below the inlet, however I've been told now that the electrical valve is next to/below the pressure converters near the top left of the engine. Can you advise at all? It's an 04 535d pre lci. Any response would be great.

Yes I think on the 525 as mine they are under the inlet 1 is accessible as it sits in the corner of the manifold, the other however is right on the cylinder head so manifold has to come off, on yours as you say top left of the engine this video may help same engine i believe kzread.info/dash/bejne/iGGWo7yeiLC2qZM.html
