Oil filter socket size = 36mm or use an adjustable spanner
Sump nut size = 17mm
Oil filter housing AND sump nut torque = 25Nm (18ft-lb)

Get whatever BMW LL01/04 spec oil that suits. Fully synthetic 0/5w-30/40.
