Excellent DIY! I've done this several times on my 335 and made a couple mistakes ruining the bearings by pulling the race through. Great job detailing and explaining how to properly is that bearing tool/kit. I'll be doing this on my E36 M3 eventually so this was a great primer. Oddly satisfying watching everything go together so well. Thanks, Big Boost.

Great , helpful video Alberto !!! On my 1994 had to wrap the inner CV boot with aluminum foil then butane torch for 90 seconds at the perimeter of the diff output flange to CV mount then use Ryobi 18V , up to 600 ft. lb. impact set on high (3) to break each E12 bolt loose. And had to torch around the splined shaft junction with the outer wheel hub to get a 5 inch bearing separator to break the hub loose from the splined shaft. I guess in 28 years the parts really like each other.

Great content as always dude. Just a quick tip, you can stick a screwdriver in the vent of the front rotor and let it rest against the caliper carrier while tightening the studs. It will decrease the risk of scratching your wheels.

nice job. lighting and audio were great. editing ditto. content also great. I've not had luck with slide hammer on some cars; made a jig to pull it out.... I didn't read all other comments, so maybe a repeat... you can make the bearings and hub go in more easily (I note you didn't have much trouble) if you put them in the freezer before installing. the races shrink a bit. it will warm up quickly after install. then, the hub is colder/ smaller, and it will go in more easily into the inner race. This is the same idea as heatin the ring gear on a flywheel to make it expand for removal, heating nuts, etc. Also, my BMW race engine builder buddy yelled at me for using too much loctite...one drop covering 3 threads, then use another stud to smear it around the threads of both. Don't have any proof, but he's been doing engines for a long time. Paul Mele

Your hub was pretty clean, but I've had to use a 3 x jaw puller to remove the old wheel bearing. I would also suggest using a torque wrench to install the nut to 220 ft/lbs. Lastly, for those without an impact wrench, I would keep the caliper mounted, put a thick screw driving in one of the cool vanes, and use a breaker bar/socket to remove the nut
