I can appreciate that it's a good car and that it's what he likes . But if I won it I would sell it and buy something that only has two doors . Take advantage of the fact that most people are into that kind of thing , and buy a Corvette or something .

Pro to Electric PS is (depending on which pump you use) you maintain the same flow/pressure regardless of engine RPM there for a more consistent steering wheel response. Also can be a switch in the dash and used even when pushing the cars around the pits

Another Pro to electric WP is you can keep the pump and fan on after you shut off the car like a turbo timer but for you cooling system. Super beneficial to be able to shut off the car and cool it down while it sits and still be able to quickly work on it during a 5 min break mid comp

I ran an electronic power steering pump from an R53 Mini Cooper and it's absolutely fantastic, I didn't lose any steering feedback from the swap, but I did have to run a Mechman 180A alternator because I had severe voltage drop from fans, electric water pump, powersteering pump and dual fuel pumps, it got so bad that I occasionally had lean conditions under high boost loads. After I did the alternator, the lean condition went away and my car gained a cool 30hp.

this has to be one of the coolest and most unique giveaway cars i've seen. looks great, going to rip and also sits 4 people which is hype

I've entered a few giveaways in the past, but my want for this car is insane, I couldn't even imagine driving it around. Whoever wins this, take good care of it.

When I worked for Multimatic building the Ford GT we had polished concrete and it was wonderful to live with.

MR2 Electric Power Steering is pretty good. Ran one in my Autocross car. Worked very well turning the 275 tire on the Civic

I think that when you add a electric power steering pump to an existing rack and opinion system , it's still handles very close to traditional hydraulic steering . It's mainly the electric steering that comes from factory that doesn't provide any feedback or any real driver feel .

16:55 those are just abs plastic with a hydrographic over it....you could find a local place and make your own version....you pick the base color and pattern...the true weave pattern looks pretty cool with a dark gray metallic base coat

We have a Meziere pump on our jzx100 drift car, seriously the best thing to do, running it on pulsed output through haltech nexus, no thermostat needed

When I did the skirts on my z I used aluminium curtain rails to hold the plastic lip straight, ended up looking really good.

#ADAM Make sure to lock your trunk up. When you bounced on klutchkickets your trunk opened and if i can remember correctly theres a rule that you cant have anything flapping in the back including trunk. So make sure you put some clips or something so it wont open.

Last I checked, you could still get the carbon trim pieces new from Toyota directly. Might be waiting a while for them to come in but does offer another solution for the yellowing issue.
