The E36 is definitely the nicest 3-Series ever made, and the E34 is the nicest 5-Series ever made. These are not just Kings of 90’s BMW’s, these cars are the Kings of all BMW’s.

Both cars are awesome. The BMW E36 is always my favorite, but I like the BMW E34 as well.

@@mislavkonjik2827 ive driven every 5 series from e12 to e39 to f90 M5. All are great cars. My favorite style wise and ease of maintenance is e34. E28 also very simple

just scored my second e34, 1995 oxford green over tan 540i/6. they aren't sports cars but man they are great "sport sedans". the comfort with some athleticism is just awesome!

Love it man. I have an E34 540i LE 6 speed here in Oz and a 1999 E36 M3 Convertible, 6 speed. Love both of them. I am using the E34 to do the Targa High Country Tour here in Victoria , in November.

E30 over both 🤷🏻‍♂️😂 but since the e34 is basically a bigger version of the E30 I’m gonna have to go with the 34

I know you're comparing the American versions of the cars but the e34 also got Manuel seats actually you can pump air into the sides of the seat so you got a greater fit. And the second point is, some e34s have a wooden middle console and an airbag in front of the passenger seat you also could order bigger kidney grills which were stock on the e34 540 Greetings from Germany

If you work on cars you will learn A LOT! My first was 89 325i back in 2004 and have been driving a BMW ever since. E46 ZHP came after amd is a fantastic car if you can find one that’s clean and not too much money. The M54 gets better with miles like the M20/30 so don’t be put off by miles if it’s been cared for.

E34 all the way even though the 98 M3 (Dakar Yellow and Estrol Blue) was the first BMW that got me to love the Brand. I’ve had E30 325i, E46 330i ZHP and E92 M3 all for many years And many many glorious miles. Next up I’m aiming for E12, E28 or E34 unless a really clean E39 pops up for too good a deal to pass. I want my first M30 bc I love the big six sound. Reminds me of my S65 which was the best sounding car with my sick exhaust and intake setup. A clean old BMW is where I’m at so right back to where I started, coming full circle haha

I paid in the deposit for an e34 last week, gonna get it on the 3rd of January, had an e90 for a while but I couldn’t resist the e34

In New Zealand I had a e34 525 with rear headrests and manual front seats.

5:43 I also dont understand how wheel well on the e36 is so odly formed, like it doesnt follow the form of the tire it kind of opens up in the end which makes it look very weird to me, the e34 for this reason doesnt even need big wheels

I always considered E34's more of an 80's car even tho they were made into the mid 90's. Can definetly tell it's related to the E30. Sidenote i have the exact same interior as you, always hated the yellowish beige. Looks good in your car tho, ofcourse i dont have the nice ass vader seats sadly. Cant decide if im just gonna get some 330i seats and be done with it.

13:30 or if youre from Germany or most places in Europe we do know exactly what youre talking about :D Another spot where E34 has very often rust is around the fuel tank door, Regarding wheels: I drive 9.5 with 16 and 8.5 with 14 offset in the front and Im very satisfied, I have a video of it on my channel, I would say 9 inch in the front and 10 inch is perfect on stock E34 without body work

Get the E34 with the centered headlights and sporty bumpers it will look way better.

People always trash the us e36, but at the end of the day it had decent power for its time and was car and drivers best handling car at any price for a long time. That's tough to achieve and means it beat or was on par with very high performance supercars in handling. And idk about ur door must be a coupe thing, my door was hit by a whole ass bus (long story) and still opens and closes lmao

You should compare E36,E39 and E38 together E34 is more like E30 and E32

You must buy new tires often. The e36 tires are cambered way out to fit. Also you must surely be bumping into things all the time with it that low and it must be extremely bumpy with almost no suspension travel. Still thanks for sharing your video.

its not the door handle broken on your e36! i have one myself and i had the exact same issue! your power window clips are broken!

Ayeeee I’m glad I bought a E34 without even knowing shet other than it had an M50 motor. And I’ve been planning to get a E36 but people were always weird about selling their car. But then I saw a E34 with low miles and a manual for $1400 so I said why not.(Keep in mind I bought it non-running due to water pump and drive belt). Easy fix with the help of all the room in the engine bay. After driving the car I’m totally in love. Though it’s old and it needs some love, this engine is bullet proof. Ngl, redline sounds amazing.
