    People say the issue is motion sickness with standard movement and VR. Surely there are enough people that don't get affected by this to make regular movement at least an option.

    They couldn't push themselves past the first level or so since nearly no one on the cast enjoys stealth games... It has the most incredible level design in clockwork mansion and a better time travel level than the titanfall 2 game they went crazy over yet they miss out just like they missed out on witcher 3 and had to say well i "respect what its doing" Even at an academic level one person on the team should force their way through the 10 hour game to speak about it. That being said its ok i understand you dont have to yell they can not like a game. Funny seeing them watch the trailer for dissonered 2 and the biggest fukin deal comes on screen that your going to take on the main man himself and they give a sarcastic shrug. Its should be like hearing their is a new doom coming out or that Skyrim 2 is coming today.

    That's not really the point. He's saying that out of all the people who work there, at least one should play the triple A title and talk about it on the website.

  • @Roxfox

    That's exactly the mentality that Giant Bomb exists to avoid, though. If you really believe that a game journalism outlet *must* represent every major title that comes out, then they'd need to hire a new racing game expert, a strategy expert, someone who's into all of the PES and FIFAs ever made and then we're back in the sterile, market fueled game coverage of the 90's again. Giant Bomb is a collection of individuals who very actively choose what sort of content to spend their time on, and have no obligation to cover anything but what they personally want to cover. That's the fundamental idea behind the entire company. If you need an outlet that covers everything, IGN and Gamespot are still out there and I'm sure they're doing a cracking job.

    I honestly wouldn't want them to force themselves to play a game they already think they won't enjoy nearly as much as others; it just starts to come off as disingenuous at some point.

    WTF!?!?! WOLFENSTIEN LOOKS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they make it just like doom (which it abosolutely looks like) I'm gonna go head over heels. Great formula: Take the time to make a solid, loved template (like doom or oblivion) and just apply it over and over. Winning Formula!

  • @Knoloaify

    @Knoloaify

    I dunno, this they they seem to be doing it right by having external developpers and curated modders making those paid mods. It looks like we will have the choice between free mods (as always) and more polished mods that we'll have to pay for. That kind of model seems fine. EDIT : See creationclub.bethesda.net/en it's more about them getting some modders to make DLCs for them than putting a price tag on mods.

  • @GamerayVideos

    @GamerayVideos

    7 жыл бұрын

    No it doesn't.If they really wanted to pay modders they could hire them as DLC developers but that is not what they are doing.This is a cancerous cash grab that will steal work from mod creators.How will i know that one of their ''approved mods'' is not using my code,assets,textures and selling it? I made it available for free and i am getting donations from people already.This is cancer and if this goes up i will take down all my mods so people don't steal them. Fuck Bethesda and Fuck Zenimax for repeating this bullshit.

  • @Knoloaify

    @Knoloaify

    7 жыл бұрын

    But they are hiring them as DLC developers, that's what the Creation Club is about. They already stated that they don't want to sell already existing mods and they only want original content. They know that reusing free content will be a PR disaster for them, they can't afford to have people stealing from mods. Since they have insight on the developpement it's obvious that they'll control that shit and stop it from happening as much as possible. And if it does, they'll most likely take down the paid mod and stop working with the scammer, because they know the backlash would be huge. Im not saying no one will try to steal shit, but Bethesda's interests are in protecting their reputation, so they likelu won't endorse that kind of thing. Wich is why they clearly stated that their shit isn't retroactive, that you have to produce original content and that there will be developpement milestones.

  • @GamerayVideos

    No no,they are not announcing that they are making more DLC and hiring more people.I would've noticed if that was what they said.

  • @Knoloaify

    @Knoloaify

    7 жыл бұрын

    They didn't announce it like that, but that's essentially what the Creation Club is. They hire people based on their work, then they pay them and pay them through developement milestones, give them access to their ressources, the content have to be new and created by the dev, and eventually they sell the finished product for credits on their store. It's litterally a micro-transaction DLC program that outsource it's production. The only catch being that devs are paid for one production rather than becoming members of Bethesda, so they're a bit like freelancers.
