I like that Andy, even though its obviously spinning its wheels on the dirt u can still see that its a quick and powerful rc car,looks quite a special truck for the money,ps nice old land rover 😁

Do it I don’t think you’d be disappointed, I love Tamiya’s but I doubt I’d do what I do with this compared to a Tamiya

I have 2 FTX Vantages brushed (one of them is the 2.0 version still BNIB and just waiting for me to do the brushless upgrade) and a brushless FTX Tracer MT. I had been planning on getting a Zorro but I'm going to get one of these instead. Thanks for the excellent review. FTX are good value and spares are easy to find (usually.)

Hi Pete , tomley rc did a cracking video on it unfortunately I didn’t get the time to take it where I wanted to. It jumps pretty well though. All in all great value RC

Cheers for the video Andy, definitely thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these... I know ftx don't quite have the prestige or possibly the quality as the really big boys but with what you are getting in the box it's damm near half the price of some of them.. definitely want to have something brushless, lipo and don't feel like crying when I stack it in the collection 😬

That is a good amount of kit for the price. FTX really are offering good stuff.more.and more it seems. A RTR would be a refreshing change to me at the moment....will say no more lol

It’s fantastic for the price, plus spares are cheap if to does break. I think its well worth considering if you just want something to throw around with out the worry of breaking something hard to replace. Plus it’s smiles on your face

Evelyn did a great job filming.. she gave us viewers a good look at the car by panning around it and bringing the camera in close. Not easy filming someone else drive and she did that well too. ,👏🏻

The Ramraider and Apache both have the bigger shocks over the Rokatan, which makes quite a difference to the handling

Having a look a the chassis images for both the Apache and Rokatan the body’s look a bit bigger on the Apache , but longer on on Rokatan but that could be different Springs , would like to see both chassis next to each other

​@@andyrobinsonrc2480 Shocks are completely different I think they are shorter as they have a bigger diameter on Apache and Ramraider. The chassis is the same on the Rokatan and Apache though. Good video, really rips on gravel, some people have said it cogs a little bit on grass

It’s a decent vehicle but the parts back up in the UK is proving to be appalling 😡. I’ve been waiting for a replacement rear axle and the stock listing just keeps moving backwards every time I check.

does it have a flux capacitor with that 3500 volts

It sounded like I said it’s a 3500 volts battery what I meant is it’s a 3500 3s lipo by Voltz ;) yeah I’m pretty sure there’s s flux capacitor somewhere in there ;)

Not sure that this can be faulted for the price...

I prefer 1/10 myself, there are larger scale ones out there but then the price goes a lot higher, it’s good for the money
