Hello I have followed tons and tons of KZread tutorials. Most people run through them to fast which in turn I must either rewind or re watch. Your videos were on point, slow and easy to follow, which is a blessing. University of KZread is great. Thank you for your excellent tutorials. I faced an error when trying to revolve: 'Sketches used for revolve features should contain a single, non-self-intersecting contour'. Solved by choosing the right contour at the features' manager on the left when making the revolve. Before hitting the green checkmark.

Another really helpful lesson. I feel a lot more comfortable. The wheel example was cool but way over my head at first. Having that experience will remind me about the tools at my disposal though in the future.

Hey vertanux1, Thank you for putting your time and effort into these video's! i'm just starting to learn the basics of solidworks 2021 i started a few days ago in a company that gives me the opportunity as a intership to learn more about the program. Now my question is will there be more video's for the 2021 version? or isn't there any difference with the 2020 solidcad video's that you made? kind regards from Belgium!

Hi Halogie, Thank you for the kind words. There isn't much difference between the 2020 and 2021 versions in my lectures, so I will no be making any more 2021 videos.

Once you create the dome, how do I set the dimensions of it? Radius can not be set with smart dimensions. Once I clicked the curvature of the dome, it shows that the radius is 0.73. But it's greyed out, not blue. Can anyone help?

Most of the time radial dimensions freak out. Idk why but i normally just set the radius in the side bar parameters, trimming the radius to where i need it then just hitting "fix" in the relations section. It blacks out and works fine. Just remember to delete any fillets before going back to fix anything if you need to. Youll end up needing to fix so many constraints
