This video did not properly explain regiochemistry- example: 1-bromine-2-deuterium-3-cyclohexane would form three unique products at each beta carbon. Please update this video as to explain this phenomenon. Thank you.

Sorry but the video makes perfect sense to me, and your example is nonsensical. Although the author of the video doesn't mention it specifically I believe he is presenting a case of kinetic vs thermodynamic control.
