Been in the engineering world for about a decade now. Always wanted to learn Solidworks as it has been used at every employeer since I started this career. These videos have helped me so much! I completed all the content in the Basic series and am now starting on this advanced series! So helpful! I no longer need to beg the MEs everytime I need something changed a tiny bit on a drawing or model! Cant thank you enough for putting these online for free!

Great tutorial. I wasn't able to get my bottom thread end to fillet. Had radius issues. Also had to modify my bottle shape to get the shell to work Would certainly be interesting to show how to fix the model if that does occur. I didn't work out the fillet on the thread worked out unfortunately.

Top Tip - if you have trouble with the swept cut feature on the bottle, make sure your bottle is fat enough. I fought with it for quite a while before I figured out that the bottle was too skinny.

What if we use boundry boss base instead??

plastic threads are different than mechanical threads use thread feature in case of bolt,nut,screws etc
