On the topic of Abundance blessings with Fu Xuan, the one that blasts healing to all allies is incredibly good imo, it turns her self heal into a Natasha ult and that can be useful against huge aoe attacks!

1:59 I just wanna share my experience of playing her with Blade here, because I have found a DEF orb + HP rope to be better than HP orb + ERR rope in a Blade team. Reason is that she has added survivability for AoE boss attacks, while still having great ult uptime because she can afford to use her skill more often because of how little sp Blade needs

Abundance just has to be her best path in SU. Her self heal below 50% was able to give me the „heal for over 8k in a single heal“ achievement, being at over 16k. You need the blessing that blasts heals on the whole team but it‘s so broken. Also, her minor ultimate heals become full heals as well.

I will confirm that Fu Xuan on the abundance path in Simulated Universe is not only good, but potentially busted as heck! You don't even have to go full abundance if you don't want as long as you get the 3 star blessing "Being of Abundance, Becoming One Mind." It turns all single target healing into AOE healing, and Fu Xuan becomes comparable to Luocha in healer strength. Especially with "Prajna Boat" which boosts healing by allies and "Clear Lucite Body" which reduces damage when HP is full, and you will have full HP most of the time on abundance path This is especially useful in Swarm Disaster since you can get Propagation blessings to manage skill points and the blessing "Catalyst" which makes it so when you use a skill that doesn't damage, it buffs the team's damage. At that point you can basically spam Fu Xuan's skill so CC resist is always up and her ultimate's now team wide healing is always available with two stacks on Fu's auto heal.

Yeah it's amazing how versatile she is , she can be played in alot of teams and she can be built in different ways . Not to mention that she has great interactions with blessings in the SU due to how her kit works . She is really fun to use even tho she is just a preservation unit . Also ult does a lot of dmg for a sustain in SU using abundance lol .

These videos are actually really nice since others ask questions I wouldn't think of until much later. Especially with Fu Xuan, who I was in a if I get her great but I'm not heartbroken if I don't mentality so I didn't do much planning with her. When you sent out the call for questions about her I couldn't think of any since building her seemed pretty straightforward to me but the questions asked in this video gave me a better idea of what to do with her since I got her early.

Go for E1 if you're just gonna use her in a crit team. But as someone with her lightcone her LC gives more diversity to her and as it buffs the teams damage, and gives her a lot of hp% and 12% ER. Bonus: with her lightcone you can basically enter a battle with everyone at 1%hp and automatically get healed to 79% hp when the battle starts.

An interesting thing to also think about is that it is easier to get lightcones. If you need spare jade, why not try for the 75% chance rather than 50/50.

It's actually kinda baffling to me how anyone could ever recommend her e1 over her LC. e1 is such a minor buff even in MoC and means absolutely nothing in SU where it's completely unnoticeable among the gazillion +dmg buffs and dew drop, quake, dissociation etc. But the comfort of always having your whole team at max health at the beginning of each fight and each wave is simply amazing. I only ever bring out a healer for the boss on difficulty 5 (and even then only if I'm not running abundance). Her lightcone takes care of everything else. I have several limited LCs and this is last one I would ever want to give up again.

This is definitely very helpful - your videos are always so informative!! You basically answered all of my questions on Fu Xuan. Loved the QQ vs FX height comparison btw. After getting FX, I cleared MOC 10 for the first time with her on one side and Gepard on the other. Personally, I feel that Preservation > Abundance at high investment since it lets me invest less into my support characters (e.g. Asta, Pela, Tingyun) and leave them squishy without fear. However, high investment is definitely needed - Gepard had 146 spd and 2.4k def while FX was 142 spd + 6.5k HP + 1.9k def. Before I rolled those spd substats, Geppie could not solo sustain in MOC 10.

Definitely light cone, I upgraded the herta lc to S5 but the light cone just makes her into such an amazing character. Extra crit dmg is nice but nothing like the utility of her cone’s healing and the hp buff is incredible

Thanks for providing a balanced take on the best solo sustain debate. I have a E0S1 Gepard and he can sustain me through Phantylia without blinking whereas Fu Xuan kept dying. It all depends on the conditions of the fight and how much you can invest in them. Realistically it’s easier to get Gepard LC than FX LC. Especially since I’m a Welkin + BP spender

She is a game changer for me. I don't have Bailu, nor Gepard or Luocha, but when i got her with her LC, everything became MUCH easier, and i was already saving since the first time i saw her in game. (Im sitting at Lvl 50 and Equilibrium 3 at the moment) Now i can go full auto over Pranktylia (Fu Xy + SW + Welt + Yukong) although, i feel more comfortable in auto with a healer instead of Yukong, because auto mode likes to spam Yukong ability and *rarely* skips Fu Xy skill refreshment. Thanks for your hard work making these videos by the way, and personally i can't get tired of videos talking about Fu Xy ❤️ (sadly i didn't saw Fuoba this time lol).

I think she has crit traces to encourage people to use the Broken Keel planar set. Not that she should invest into crit, but can occasionally benefit from being a holder of the set while stacking Effect Resist.

I just tried using fu on moc 10 using landau's choice s1 as solo sustain and it worked even on auto 👌

@@ameliedewitte I believe it was Seele, bronya, silver wolf, fu xuan. It doesn't have to be those characters but that team worked very well.

having played them, Fu Xuan, Blade(in slot next to Fu) and Lynx are actually a perfect team to use combined either a sub-dps or another dps slot like Sushang for example, since she can get 1-2 sp per ult. Lynx's skill giving more aggro to Blade solves the very minor issue of Fu Xuan having higher aggro due to being preservation, though it will still be rng whether or not Blade gets hit. I really love this team, they work incredibly well together. its actually one of Blade's perfect teams as it gives him everything he could want with very little downsides. in terms of Bronya with Lynx, Fu and Blade its essentially a matter of sp management and technically speed stat. since Bronya has action advance when doing a basic attack, she's a pseudo-sp generator that doesn't necessarily need to use her skill all the time, so its actually fine to use and let Lynx use her skill. ideally Lynx should go after Blade or Bronya depending on their speed stats and the turn order. this team is most deff about sp management, thats the key to using Bronya with Lynx, knowing when and when not to use Bronya's skill. so they'll have a little downtime, but they should deff work together. a 2nd dps or another sub-dps may be preferred in Bronya's place. but I think it all really depends on the content one's doing. one of the interesting parts about the destruction path is, its path resonance. specifically the one that takes away 40% hp for more damage. this always triggers Fu Xuan's stack. it may seem anti-synergy, but, if her ult's up, especially with the help of energy regen+100% action advance hunt blessings+the recover sp on basic attack error code curio, Fu Xuan will essentially have unlimited free heals per path resonance use everytime her ult's up since she immediately regains that lost stack and can build her ult up again.

If you have Seele and Bronya, I feel the Hunt path is actually really good for Fu Xuan. She's keeping the team constantly buffed and she'll generally be doing more damage than any other sustain you could run. If you get hit, she tanks it, can heal herself, and her Ult will heal the party. I even ran it with the split damage Destruction blessing after I upgraded it and it felt really smooth to run. I haven't tested this at lvl 5 yet so your mileage may vary

This is helpful. I think it's worth doing a Q&A-type video after a new character is introduced.

E1 is really interesting if you're running Bronya, since the crit DMG boost of Bronya's ultimate scales with her own E1 Fu Xuan ends up increasing your DPS crit DMG both directly and indirectly. With a 250% crit DMG Bronya and E1 Fu Xuan y managed to give +100% crit DMG to my Seele, it one shoted cocolia 😂

I will add a small thing - if you really like running SU Swarm 5, her LC is INCREDIBLE due to the heal at the start of the first turn - this means that any events that sacrifice %hp of the entire team and just ending battles on low hp, as well as that one lottery ticket are not scary anymore. Without the LC, if she is your only sustain in the team - it can be very rough to recover from low HP But that is, again, a very situation/luxury pick x) I got her E1S1 to buff boff Seele AND QQ and sustain them through any content, and maxed her out immidiately, so I'm definetly bias from over here xD Also - thank you for the video, I'd love to see more like these on new char releases!

I view Fu Xuan as the ideal middle ground sustain. Gepard on one end of the scale is great for units who want to avoid getting hit (ex. Yanqing). Luocha is on the other end of the scale for units who want to get hit (ex. Blade/Clara). I’m sure both style of DPS will see more in the future, making all three sustains relevant. You can use Luocha for destruction teams, Gepard for damage avoidance teams, and Fu Xuan for general use. This isn’t even getting into the SP considerations. I honestly think it makes sense to have at least 3 solo sustain units just for flexibility.

I have the theory they gave her crit rate traces as a way to let her take advantage of her own crit buffs, other crit buffing units also have ways to take advantage of them, like Bronya having 100% crit rate on her basic atk or Yukong having a nuke on her ult, so Fu Xuan gets like 60+ crit value between her traces and skill lvl.10, it might be a bit of a stretch but it's just a pattern i found interesting

sadly that kind of defeats the purpose of her kit's straightforwardness as a preservation unit. a character that should be built with def and hp no questions asked is now stretched into a weird ground of should you build her for damage? idk you never know what hoyo is thinking lol

I actually kinda like the DMG split blessing, but only when upgraded since it gives you 15% DMG reduction. If you also get 'Indicative Depth of Field' and 'Clear Lucite Body', paired with fu xuan's passive, you're practically invincible. Bonus points if you also have healing blasted to all allies. It's incredibly fun to watch your units take almost 0 DMG even when fighting the max level swarm boss.

wanted to drop a question when i saw the tweet, but looks like someone else already asked about it. (EN rope if i alr have her LC and Vonwacq) can we get golden stat breakpoints for the other (updated ones and future) infographic guides too? sometimes i wonder how much is too much, especially for Harmony units that seems to love a bit of column A (survivability) and column B (how much Break% on Asta, ATK% on Tingyun for example). i have both Luocha and Fuxuan on my Clara team (with Tingyun) so that i can AFK while grinding. i got a bit goofy on Swarm Disaster and picking the Propagation blessing that turns basic attacks into Blast considering my team (sans Clara) just use their basics a lot. PS: Fuxuan's model is shorter than Clara's, who is barefoot. crazy huh.

8:07 Clara works well with Fu xuan but personally I would say that Luocha is still better for her. Because she is quite tanky, draws most of the enemy attacks for herself and heals the entire team basically every time she takes damage she kind of solves Luocha's main weakness which is the possibility of someone randomly getting one shoted. Furthermore, Luocha's auto skill has priority over Clara's counters so if an attack CCs her but also causes her to drop to 50% or below she will still counter. I swear the synergy between these two is incredible and definitely one of the best duos in the game in terms of survivability

Awesome vid guoba! I am trying to build my own fu xuan but I do wonder though, is 2 pc wuthering snow still worth using with landau's choice? The damage reduction on her talent, landau's, and 2 pc stack multiplicatively, which is not great cause it diminishes the effectiveness of each damage reduction source, leading to diminishing returns. I did a rough calculation and the effective dr% increase with max talent and s1 landau's is only around 5.5% instead of the listed 8%. Given that, I was wondering if it would instead be better to run 2 pc hackerspace or healing instead since they dont face the same issue of diminishing returns. What are your thoughts? It may also be possible that I am misunderstanding how different sources of dr% stack.

Yeah you can run hacker or healing and you wont notice the DR change that much

i'm f2p and have terrible luck so when i won my 50/50 i just kept pulling and got a e1 on the next 50/50 lol as someone who was having trouble with my seeles crit its been a literal life saver and everything is a breeze now, unless all the dps' become atk/hp scaling I don't see myself every regreting it. buttt E1 pretty much just made her a better budget harmony so def go for lightcone if you want her actual focus (damage mitigation) to get better.

I really love this kinda of video but you should explain in depth about the question more maybe 30 min vid about this ask questions type thing cuz in really important to them to know on depths about each particular character

okay from my experience with e1s1, i think if you’re sure you’re not gonna die before FX moves then speed doesn’t matter because once her matrix is up, ITS UP. so i just went hp boots and she has 10k hp without skill and i’m pretty happy with that. i loved her dmg ult so i just stacked all hp pieces for max dmg and put crit/ hp/ and def subs and surprisingly her crit traces get her over 50% crit EASY without many crit rate subs, 4pc Longevous passive, and her skill so i think that’s what they were intending with those crit traces, she does decent dmg so i don’t think they’re “useless” tldr to me she’s kinda just the support version of blade where they’re kinda just hp bruisers with crit so i would rather hp and crit than speed

My question is in the scenario where skill points are of no concern, such as SU where certain blessings give a lot of sp, or if we ever get a character that generates multiple skill points down the line. Which would be more damage for Fu Xuan? Using her skill every turn to activate that one trace to really spam her ult constantly? Or just use basic attacks until it's time to refresh her skill?

If she spammed skill itd still be 3 turns, 2 turns with hits, and wouldnt be that much dmg anyway

Any other variations for stat ratio? Still working on my substats but currently at 6.2k hp and 2.1k def with 130ish speed.

Her ult dmg was way higher before last balance change in beta more than double of current its same with lynx na people was thinking about sup dps lynx it was that high

@@guobacertified yeah I wanted to give both of them crit focus builds and put them together in mono quantum 2 crit builded sustain units should be enough since they don't have split scaling so they do their jobs and do a lot of dmg but they were lil bit too op so nerf was needed and I think they're gonna give is more aggressive sustain units I don't wanna spoil the fun so I will not continue but I think we're gonna see one sooner than we expected

Would you personally prefer a 121 spd fu xuan with energy rope + lc, or 151 spd with only lc? Thanks for the video as always, it's fun watching yours 🙏

However, her Sig LC makes the gambling tickets in the Simulated Universe an all-time-win xD; Because no matter how much HP your team lost, she will recover them back to almost full upon the start of a new battle (depending on if you have any healing buff on her, you may even fully heal.)

U can do that even without sig if u got blasting healing buff from abudance path. As soon battle begins, she will trigger her own talent and recover herself and allies back to full xD. But yea with sign cone, u still keep her talent, which is better.

hi, do you have knowledge on how her e4 works, does it accumulate per teammate on one aoe atk so 15 energy gain? is it affected by er?

Works on each teammate so yea 15 energy and works with ERR from what I know.

Is Geppie, FuXuan Broyna and a Certain White Haired Ice Sword Master a possible do it all hyper carry team or cope based solely on the assumption that Jing will be at least A tier DPS?

Two preservation is a bit much , just go second support for jingliu

I'm debating on getting her LC or saving for Jing Liu's (If i'm lucky on 50:50 Jing Liu) the team heal is very tempting.

Hey Guoba, I’m running her with Vonwacq primarily for her to be advanced forward and be the first one to act. It’s niche but sometimes enemies do a lot of damage if Fu Xuan isn’t fast enough to use her skill. It’s just an argument that just like 5% energy doesn’t matter that much, so too does the 12% HP set bonus. Would Fu Xuan being guaranteed to be the first to act be a worthy though to consider Vonwacq? So far I’ve found it to be very comfortable.

Hm I guess so. I didn’t consider it since I’d use technique or have her fast, and as long as she’s faster than enemies you’re good. But yeah vonwacq can be used

I have Lady Fu Xuan at E4 with Signature LC. Do I still need the ERR?

For other supports in Fu Xuan's team, would def% be preferred over hp% for their tankiness? It seems generally whenever a support can afford to wear a tanky orb, hp% seems to be the general recommendation, but just wondering if def% would be preferable when paired with FX or if it ultimately doesnt matter which you choose.

honestly I want her E1 more, later maybe when she has her rerun, just because I hate solely relying on relic RNG so every buff I can get is good (same with SW E2)

Do you think I can switch ERR rope to HP% if I am running a hyperspeed Fu Xuan? I'm currently at 163 speed and I feel like I will get my ult back fast enough due to the extra turns.

For those of you using blade with her, guoba is exactly right, you need to ult to heal back up and with Bronya you are okay. It is more than viable, but I think the future of this composition is with another dps, especially with e1. Cr and cd will work x2. This is based on exp of solo sustaining moc 10 with blade and using her with Natasha in swarm (but in most paths, Natasha wasn’t actually needed it was just emergency)

Lmao I guess not, its fine to do i just try to avoid it, swapping LCs is fine too

after saving for three banners, i got E1 and S1 Fu Xuan. i tried running her with HP rope and her signature LC, but ERR is still better in my opinion (with or without her LC). i run her with 2pc longevous and 2pc wuthering (HP body, SPD boots, HP orb, ERR rope)

also regarding SU, i choose to run her with fire MC, a dps, and a harmony/nihility. you're almost guaranteed not to take damage when you get all the preservation blessings.
