I just cleaned mine. Separate the magnetic coil from the pump and the impeller should spin freely without the pull of the magnetic field. If not, it's gummed up! I couldn't get the impeller out so I pryed it up a little and worked dish soap and then vinegar into the impeller. Neither freed it up so I tried Marvel Mystery oil. Started to free up so I finally sprayed some universal lube (WD40 would work too) into the impeller from a can and worked that in pulling up and down or shaking the impeller housing and rotating the impeller until it spun freely even under the faucet! Reinstalled on washer, works quiet and efficiently again! Like new!
