Hi Jens, thanks a lot for this video, 3 years ago you've put the finger on a real improvement upgrade to our board: Steering Damper. Q1) What is your current return of experience after 3 years riding dual steering damper? Q2) My board a Lacroix Nazare first gen really needs to get something better than their Hypertruck system. turn radius is ridiculous, and tuning bushings (carving vs high speed) has be be done at home before to go riding and it is boring, I would like to know if you've already adapt (or try to) to other trucks (like Lacroix's one)? Q3) Which steering damper do you suggest, do you have a link to forward to? Thanks a lot. Fred.

So did you machine the portal hubs and a motor mounts?? And also are you using 2 brushless motors? I have a castle creations 6900kv motor in my rc car. Would 2 of those work on a couple 2s lipos????

how long does the battery last? and how fast can it go?

Try white lithium grease on those plastic gears. Just pack it in there. It will go silent. Even better, add a grease fitting.

1) Probably geared to go maybe 25 mph but could easily do more. 2) Approaching 3 grand USD. 3) 6 1/2" inches from the base 4) Its all custom parts. Trampa board, Etoxx trucks, alien motors.

i don't understand why the outer shell of the motor would turn.. isn't that a waste of power? also, isn't there a linear speed controller? i notice you have to control your speed by rapidly accelerating and letting loose (in a binary state, nothing inbetween)

To be honest its no way back to Roxxys for mine in no case... Because of the sensors with the Vesc... always said sensors are not needet but once i tryed i will never switch back... just so much more control and fun Running 120A Motorcurrent, thats what the Roxxy puts out... but its less digital with the Vesc... more triggerway.... Good and i like it

Hey,Jens! -Möchte mir mit meinen 13 Jahren auch ein E-Mountainboard bauen! -Aber da mir eines mit 2 Motoren zu teuer ist, würde ich es gerne mit einem Motor bauen! -Also meine Frage jetzt an dich: Erstmals, kann ich ein e-Mountainboard mit einem Motor betreiben? Zweitens, kann ich diesen einzelnen Motor dann mit einem 12s5p akku betreiben? (ich fahre nur auf flachen Waldwegen!) Ich bitte um eine Antwort Beste Grüße Jonas

Geil, ich bitte um eine Antwort ist iwie lustig... Ja gerne doch , also : Klar kannst du machen mit einem Motor, habe ich ganz am Anfang auch getan. Ist halt Griptechnisch im Gelände nicht so toll, und du bekommst beim Gas und Bremsen immer so querkräfte rein.... geht aber alles... tolles einfaches Setup is Hobbywing Quicrun 150A an 6S Lipo mit zB nem Turnigy SK3-168kv... wenn du aus der Gegend bist kannst gern mal vorbeischauen, hab meist noch gebrauchte Sachen rumliegen BG Jens

Also genau dieses, nur die akkubox wird ersetzt! Das boers ist erst 1 Jahr alt und der Akku (Lg hg2 10s6p)4monate mit 15 ladezyklen! Er verkauft es mir um 1900€! Ich glaube nicht, dass ich so ein gutes board für diesen preis bekomme!
