From how I see it, *Gemini Ganesan is a cheap man for going after another girl despite being married and Savitri is a cheap lady who pursued a married man just to advance her career !* Alamelu is a saint, who had no voice and suffered the most from being married to Gemini Ganesan. She couldn't divorce him because she needed his money and support because she wasn't a star and had four daughters to raise.
