E-Flite Decathlon 1.2m - First Flights x 12 camera angles

12 camera angles!!! I must be crazy but this new model can certainly take each camera position carefully placed in the shown locations and providing some great ocean flight scenery PLUS showing off this fantastic aircraft. Enjoy the experience.

Glad you enjoyed it Jeff. The flights over the dunes to the beach were a bit hair raising as the wind was coming straight from the sea. The plane can handle virtually anything

@@Bellairvideo I bet it will be just as nice as the Clipped Wing Cub but maybe not as good as the Bigfoot. XFLY are so nice so looking forward to see what it is! F-22?

Well done sir. Always fun to watch your videos. Glad to see you get a decathlon beautiful plane. Mine is still in the box. I need more room. Just wondering about the sand getting into everything. Motor, wheels, servos. Do you do a brush down after every flight or what. Thanks.

Hi Jay, you should love flying this model. Apart from a nose over in the sand on the prop & cone which I brushed off. The only other area were the wheels. I do use a new paint brush should sand get into the wheel wells of retracts & spray them occasionally with silicon, but then that is the price i pay for flying at a beach. Many thanks fir watching🇦🇺🦘🪃

Great video! Can I ask how you mounted the Go 3? Is that just double sided tape? I would be worried it falls off! And how do you stop the paint pulling off when you have mounted the camera on the wing? Thanks!

G’day Richard, great questions. Yes i use 3m double sided tape & check the strength each flight AND replace each time. It is a GO2 camera & lighter than the GO3. If it is a smaller aircraft, i use a Mobius 808 #32 D lens @ 17g very light & only US$45. No problems mounting on the decath plastic areas or plain foam but if on a painted area, i use clear scotch tape & mount it on that. To remove the tape without lifting paint or transfer, i apply a quite warm soaked cloth or tissue & leave it until the tape goes cloudy & comes away. Because it is clear tape i normally leave it for other flights.🇦🇺🦘🪃
