They made one but shut the project down because it was too expensive to make new washing machines

Such an outstanding machine. It most likely has something trapped in the latch and the sensor thinks it’s open still

My friends used to do this back in the 00s unfortunately you will probably need a new door lock but she did used to give a little punch or knee and it would work and did for months before it gave up. They unfortunately are very faulty hers only lasted 5 years before it went to the scrap man… in 2007 and lots of problems in that time…

Take the wax locking mechanism out of the outer door latch. Check to see if the microswitch has continuity. It's either NC or NO. I'm pretty sure it's a CO switch. Check in both positions for continuity. It's the micro switch, that or the switch has moved out of position. It's a generic part with a standard part number so you can find a suitable replacement.

This concept failed terribly not to say there isn’t a washing machine that has a unique washing action because of LG 6 motion

Wow i didn't even Know Dyson made washing machine's. Not in Australia at the moment pretty sure. Did you fix the door.

Yup they made them in the early 2000s, got rid of the thing in the end, they were unreliable and as a result Dyson stopped making them cos they were rubbish lol

@@parwaz7861they weren’t rubbish they just cost to much to make. Dyson couldn’t make a profit unless they sold them for more. Once you’ve had one you realise nothing compares

This is why digital washers aren’t as good as old fashion washers. Not sure if you have same thing in UK but here in US most modern washers barely uses any water and has lower performance vs older washers that actually use water

It's too bad that Dyson can't fix it because they stopped all support and parts for it. Maybe you can call someone to get it fixed.

Dyson…of course you did. Sir James Dyson, you’re a great guy when it comes to over complicating shit that shouldn’t be overcomplicated. LG and Samsung use a single door, it’s cheaper and more reliable anyways.
