I just bought the v11 a couple weeks ago so a huge THANK YOU for teaching me all i need to know!!

While it is true that a heavy dust build-up AROUND the seal can cause it to stick a bit when trying to remove the bin from the body, there is usually NO NEED to remove that seal and clean the inside of it, as that part does NOT cause the sticking, only the parts of the seal that actually touch the other parts of the vacuum body. When removing and cleaning that bin, I find it better to just apply a smear (a very small amount) of Silicone Grease (or a minute amount of silicone polish on your finger) around the rubber parts that touch the body. I have never had mine stick after doing this.

Thanks for your comment. I have serviced over a thousand Dysons , and there is issues where it’s hard to pull which breaks the bin seal but built up dirt inside the seal does break it too .
