Dyson Sphere Program
----------------------------
Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure, exploration and factory automation elements where you can build your own galactic industrial empire from scratch.
In the distant future, the power of science and technology has ushered a new age to the human race. Space and time have become irrelevant thanks to virtual reality. A new kind of supercomputer has been developed - a machine whose superior artificial intelligence and computing capability will push humanity even further. There is only one problem: there isn’t enough energy in the whole planet to feed this machine.
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing Dyson Spheres (a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its power and energy) to produce the energy that humanity needs. Only a few decades ago, Dyson Spheres were considered a hypothetical, impossible invention - but now it’s in your hands… Will you be able to turn a backwater space workshop into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire?

Just so you guys know, other than really bizarre gravitational lensing, nothing happens when you go into the Blackhole, you just begin orbiting it like any other celestial body

Taking energy from a Black Hole would be a very different and far more compact/efficient system - especially since Black Holes last dramatically longer than stars do. (And are also much, much smaller, being compacted to the absolute limit of matter density.) Rather than a sphere engineered to harness the radiation and light directly from the sphere, you'd have an angular mirror encasing it - openings periodically opening so circling beams would fire rays of radiation into the disk around the black hole. The process is hard to explain, but the light that doesn't fall directly into the hole gets amplified in the "ergosphere" of the Black Hole and bounces around inside the mirror over and over, in a process called "Superradiant Scattering". The energy amplification is essentially exponential, and as such, you could then open little holes in the mirror-sphere to collect the now-boosted energy back out - all the while still gaining more than what you put in. This process basically is converting the absurdly high rotational energy from the black hole into more accessible forms of energy - after eons pass, the black hole will eventually stop rotating altogether if the process drags on long enough. But it'd still last absurdly longer than a Dyson sphere, take less resources to build, and give a lot more juice - the cost being both that you have to handle being so dangerously close to such an extreme object, and that if the energy is left to build up inside the sphere faster than it's extracted, the mirror sphere can shatter, released all the built-up energy in a blast not unlike a stellar supernova, atomising everything for AUs in every direction. Many claim that this and similar processes to use Black Holes as an energy source will be the only viable energy source for an intelligent species when the last star dies. With the Dark Age lasting for most of the universe's predicted lifespan, it's possible this might be the mainstay power source of the (impossibly distant) future. Other methods are proposed, of course - the highest density of matter itself is ripe with possibilities to put it to use! - but this one method currently has the most sound planning based on proven methods. However it ends up working - it *would* very much be a thing, and it's really fascinating stuff!

When you are in sailing mode in space, press tap to get mouse control, move the pointer over the star that you want pin, the name of the solar system will appear, then in the right side of the name, you will see a pin icon. This only work for stars, because planets are automatically pinned when you are in the solar system.
