Never use carpet freash I work a dyson and number 1 reason for moter failure is baking, soda, carpet, fresh, exetra

I also got taught by dyson to tap the inside silver canister with a wooden spoon outside when u remove it from the plastic bin to remove all the dust caught up inside the unit. it's amazing how much comes out

Guys, why not dismount this metal grill from time to time? Lots of dust deposits gather there. Once you remove them, your dyson stops stinking on the exhaust. Just be careful not to break the plastic fasteners.

@@akakiy60I’m telling you bro go with a air gun hose , remove the rear filter and blow into the area where the pre filter sits it will blow the dust out the unit

It will damage the machine, as the water will go into the motor

Does the canister stick? I thought water removes the lubricant on the seals? Or did you dust them with talc after? It looks nice and clean :)

The canister opens and seals perfect, like new. It was gently washed and dried thoroughly

Don't use water to clean the bin! The dust is meant to stay in the rjng in order to lubricants it. I jusr found this out front a dyson expert

I wish you could wet the head part, not just use a tooth brush to clean it. A friend of mine decided to clean up vomit with my Dyson I had just bought a week prior and it’s still has “stains”. I hate it.

You can remove the motor from the body and the head and disassemble every single part and wash them all with water, this isn't a deep clean

Which Dyson do you recommend? We have pets, tile/wood floors & we would like to use it in the car. Any thoughts? Thanks!

This one is great, the V11 absolute. But the V15 is a little more powerful, and the battery is better. But it's gonna come down to your budget👌

I've been doing it for years, and not one issue.. just make sure you leave it to dry properly for at least 24 hours

Urs was ok mine was like filth from gutters 😂 but i did clean it was some other vaccum even it started smelling bad and then i got to know okbit was the vaccum

If Dyson is like other vaccum. Don't use it to pick up wet or dry plaster after sanding a wall... Before painting. just a hint 😉😊

I took my canister completely off and when trying to put it back on the red seal at the base detached and the retention ring also came off and no matter what I tried it will not stay on any more.

this happens to a few people, and its because there is a stopper at the end of the runner and if it breaks it will need to be replaced. hope that helps.

@@handycoco8456 I replaced the seal and retentions ring I got it off Ebay as once piece already assembled

I used ispropyl alcohol 70 % n all that crap stuck came right off made it look like new, every month u just got to give it a little dust off n clean with a cloth n deep clean it every 6months or a year
