Same. Trying it out now and I’ve tried hair mousse, the hair being dry, the hair being damp, hairspray, hairspray and then setting while being clipped up. I’m really highly dissatisfied :(

Yeah....I always dry the ROOTS completely. Any damp left in the roots - the curls will drop.

Is the long barrel specifically made for really long hair? What if smone has medium length hair (below the shoulders but not quite as long as yours yet)? Your length is my goal length. Which barrel is best for medium to long hair ?

I would personally go for the long barrel. It literally gives you extra space so could actually be used on short hair as well. Particularly if you're hoping for your hair to grow. I would recommend the long complete to anyone with hair longer than a bob. Hope that helps x

Yes most of the time. Sometimes I use hairspray but sometimes that makes the hair drop quicker! It’s all trial and error I find x

I filled out the warranty form online. It has been a week but i havent got any email confirming the warranty yet... i called their office today and they will send an email regarding the warranty within 24 hours. Ive read in some reviews that they got a replacement but had the same problem with the new one... Regardless, i wouldnt expect this problem considering the price. I had been using my GHD for 8 years now, and its still working fine. Its also dual voltage unlike dyson...

You push the on button upwards and the Dyson Airwrap blows out cooler air (aka "cool blast"). This helps to set the curls and keep them in for longer!

They don’t last for me and i do everything right..

Because all of these youtubers are lying, they are getting sponsored. I bought one a few days ago and the curls don't hold for even ten minutes, I can actually cry, it was so much money..I'm hoping I can still return it.

@@stefaniecolapinto it’s better when u use strong hold mousse and hairspray. But yeah the curls do not hold. Also, when your hair is more damaged, the curls hold better too.

@@randymarsh6286 I tried with mousse and hairspray, I tried without, I tried with all kinds of dampness to my hair, I tried on my daughters hair, she has wavy and drier hair then mine....every time the curls fall out. I think this is really only for people who want to reduce the amount of heat on their hair because their hair is damaged. I have healthy, undamaged hair, so I think it's true what you say that it works better on damaged hair. Too bad.

My hairdresser told me all these demos where the curling gadgets keep their shape/curl are generally with bleached hair as that helps the curls grip and stay put. As another has commented, the more damaged/bleached your hair, the longer the curls stay/grip.
