Glad to see them expanding their sound a bit, don't know what people are complaining about. Dark atmosphere, great buildup to an explosive finish, what's not to like?

Kristoffer Witt I totally agree. It sounds way darker than the old stuff but still has that signature devastating heaviness and groove. I never thought they would make a "slow" song but god damn is it massive

The whole album feels like a repeat of their old stuff in reality. Even reused riffs and general guitar work. Disappointing tbh

Speaking for myself I discovered them last week and love them. This song, in particular, is excellent.

Dyscarnate to me are like if you take the rhythmic elements of Dying Fetus and Gojira and occassionally sprinkle some Behemoth vibes in there. Fucking love this album!

This album absolutely crushes. Man.

I love this band so much. They have all of my favorite elements nicely blended together. To me, this song specifically has early black metal vibes, like early Emperor or Dimmu Borgir.

I loved this band 5 years ago, then somehow I had a massive brainfart and forgot all about them. And then I rediscover them with this...and it's been on repeat for the last 2 hours. Completely addicted, for my taste an absolute masterpiece that should've lasted 4 hours instead of minutes.

HOT DAYUM. Also that bass just sounds fantastic. Every. Time.

Everyone's complaining lol yeah its not amazing but still sick IMO. Probably the only slow track on the Album.. Maybe one more but I don't mind at all

This sounds like a modern Job for a Cowboy track, not necessarily a bad thing, but I preferred "Iron Strengthens Iron" a lot more.

Boohoo, some forms of music (especially with distortion) will inevitably sound similar to other bands. People need to stop using this as a medium for comparison... It's literally pointless. Enjoy the fact two badass bands coexist and both make great music. This song is killer. No questions about it.

As much as I hate these typical "disliker jokes", I hate it even more in that it sound you got the song backwards, the song is about how the powerful become even more powerful and the opposition (the people) gets stomped. So in that regard, you comment is a bit moronic. If everyone takes every lyrics literally that is how stupid typecasting like "satanists" for Black Metal or "mysoginists"/"sick fucks" for Death Metal get born. And it's fucked up.
