So much props to Sjokz for handling this interview so professionally. You don't see it in this video, but even before the interview actually starts, there's a camera shot while the announcers were still talking where you can see that she is trying to calm him down and comfort him and maybe give him a heads up of exactly what she's going to ask him. It's been amazing to watch the progression of not only League of Legends itself, but also the announcers and reporters who go along with it. Some assholes say that Eefje is only popular because she's an attractive woman, but interviews like this prove that she is absolutely qualified for what is doing and one of the best in the business.

LOL But yeah, dude is a legend, has been around from the get go. Has been to every single worlds event. Not many can say that. Which is an amazing feat on its own right. Guy definitely deserves to be immortalized in League.

Dyrus was sometimes (mostly in early career [S1]) an Asshat in SoloQ, he as even open about breaking his keyboard an said that he was passive-agressive or full out raging in soloQ. Is it so hard to agree on this? He had the most admirable Stage preformance. He was mannered and nice, always, on this we agree yes? Can you point me where is this misfortune you speak of? You make it sound like he retired because of an injury or something. If you wish to continue on civil basis, please watch couple of the last four TSM:Legends.

I don't know what to say right now... We take the game so serious but this is what really matters. The players, the legends we love so much. It is so sad when a big LoL figure like Dyrus retires. You start to get flashbacks from Season 1,2,3 and 4 and all the ups and downs he has been trough. The legacy ends now but I hope Dyrus will continue to stay in the LoL community some way.

It's hard to believe that League of Legends has grown so much, 5 years ago nobody would've thought this game would be a lot more than just a game, played in the biggest arenas in the world.And now one of the best players who played the game, Dyrus, is retiring. This ''game'' was his life, his passion and throughout all the good performances that he had made, people still make fun of him, hate on him...It's really sad to see him saying that he's sorry for letting us down but in the end, aren't we the ones that let him down? I'm not gonna say goodbye, I'm just gonna say... Thank you.

I can imagine that there are tons of players that follow the LOL esports but never heared of Dyrus cause the started playing after his time. I rly wish there was an official Riot Hall of Fame to acknowledge the best players and personalities in LOL's history.

Never thought watching League of Legends could ever make me cry ;(

I will always have fond memories of tuning into Dyrus's stream late at night/early morning back in college. I wish him the best of luck in the future and he has absolutely not let any of his true fans down.

I think i watched this a dozen times already, cried like a baby in all them, not just because Dyrus has the biggest history in the competitve scene, when i watch how this interview turn out to be, i start to think how big this game has become, i remember playing it back in 2011 pissed cuz i loved DotA so much and my friends wanted to played LoL so i had to HAHAHA, it was just for fun, today i see LoL as my number one sport, i don't play league for almost six months, but i still watch all LCS, LCK, LPL, CBLOL (I'm from Brazil HU3) every single day it broadcasts, and pisses me of that the majority of my family and friends cannot see/discern what this game has become and what it is essencially outside the playzone. Bah... I just want to thank Dyrus and every player that made League what it is right now.

That S A TRUE TOP LANER.TANKS ALL THE DAMAGE FOR THE TEAM BUT DEEP DOWN ITS EMOTIONALLY PAINFUL.DYRUS T.T.HE TANKED SO MUCH UNTIL HE FINALLY HAD TO LET IT ALL OUT.

Dyrus was always one of my favorite players, I stopped watching LoL Esports after he left. For me, it just was never the same again. I still watch other Esports games but I never have been as connected to any of those games as I have been to LoL Esports and the original TSM team.

Came here from Bjergsen retirement video. 7 years later and this interview still brings me to tears man 😭

Wow. I didn't rly care about TSM in the worlds, so I also don't know the players, but this really made me cry. I think I'll become a fan of TSM now and support them.

For the most part I stopped playing league because it stopped being fun, but... I'll have to play some more because this hit me right in the feels. From now on, all my games are going to you Dyrus, because all of your games have gone out to us :')
