Thanks for sharing. The OEM DynAudio in my Golf is great for 'listenability' - I can listen for long periods at a good volume without any fatigue. I've yet to find another system that matches it.

the TLDR version of this is basically the hybrid 602 woofer has a better bass response and the dyn mw162 has a smoother, easier to listen to midrange. watch video for my ramblings and thoughts

I had Dynaudio in the mid 90's and they were amazing back then paired with Sony High End tweeters, great vocals and tight bass and that 3" aqua color voice coil looked great.

Where would you even recommend going online to purchase the dynaudio 6.5 drivers and tweeters? I live in Dallas, TX.

Ebay seller audio for fun. You should be able to find him just doing a simple Google search for eBay seller audio for fun. If not you can use the eBay seller search. When you find the right guy he should have 15,000 items sold, 4300 feedback @ 100% and located in Poland. Even with shipping to the United States he's cheaper than any American distributor. . He normally ships DHL so you get the speakers a few days after you order even from Europe. I found this guy from multiple forum recommendations. He's an authorized dealer over there for a lot of the really high-end brands. He will wheel and deal if you send him a message and just need the raw drivers, or I think he has most of the kits listed most of the time. The only other seller I know of that reliably stocks is woofers etc

Do you have any experience with the Audiofrog gb 60s or the gb series in general? If so, how would you say they compare to the Dynaudio and the Morel Hybrids?

Very good. The install, the crossover, the head unit, the amplifiers, they all are going to affect sound. It's hard to really comment on something I haven't used for at least a few months. I have heard audio frog products and generally like their sonic signature. For lower cost speakers the moral tempo ultra and Audison voce are two of my favorites but when you start getting into the good stuff. It's kind of like I was saying with the esotec vs hybrid woofer in this video. It's very nuanced. You really would have to listen to the gb series, preferably for an hour or more, and see what you think of how it sounds with your favorite music. I also just looked at eBay and it appears dynaudio raised their prices. When I bought my esotec gear it was about 300 a set less than it currently is selling for. This was only 2 years ago. Got to love inflation....... Oh before I forget there is a KZread channel called Fred and sound. he tests a lot of high-end speakers and uses a really good microphone to pick them up so you can actually get a rough idea of the general tone of a speaker over a KZread video. It's not like real life of course but it's a decent idea

yea but i dont really see dynaudio on his channel..im debating too...was suggested morel..but was looking at dynaudido, audio frog, audison etc..right now im running infinity kappas on 5 channel kappa amp and sony 9000es head unit@@gen-X-trader
