Is it possible to make like a war game simulation? With each sides having guns and cars, tanks and aircrafts? Or is this strictly melee only?

I've made stuff like this before, the game hes using to simulate this is called overgrowth. Guns are possible, you can place blocks possible to be used as barricades, but im not sure if cars/aircrafts are possible. I think a war type situation is possible, but it may not be as epic and intriguing as you might expect. The devs have stated that they arent working on a sequel to this game but they aren't saying they never will.
