Dynamic LED Light Show - Cinema 4D Tutorial

Фильм және анимация

In this MAXON Cinema 4D motion graphic tutorial we are going to be taking a look at how to create a dynamic LED light array in Cinema 4D. This technique was used by real life LED light show engineers. They built the setup in Cinema 4D and animated the lights. This information was then sent back the the physical LED array and the show performed as it did in Cinema 4D. In this video, we show you how to generate the same effect they did with the physical array!

I know this is an old video, but is there a chance you could tell me how to do all this with the updated version of Cinema 4d? I don't have a falloff option after you say to drag the plain effector. Also, does this work on a circle? I was attempting this with a circle and it doesn't seem to be working out the same way as the triangle?

So I figured out the problem I was having from the comment. I think it was just a program glitch, I undid to right after adding the effector plain, saved and restarted. Everting loaded in the renderer after.

Can't promise this is the best solution (and a little late at that), but in R20, I set the Plain effector parameter->Color mode to Fields Color, then in the Cone field itself, I set the color remap to white...works fine now.
