Dynamic Charts That Update Automatically In Excel - Using OFFSET To Create Dynamic Ranges
A dynamic chart updates automatically to changes in the data source. To make the chart dynamic, we use dynamic ranges which update automatically as our data changes. There are two ways of creating a dynamic range. Firstly, we can format our data source as a table which is arguably the easier method. This is covered in another video. Secondly, we can use the OFFSET function to create dynamic ranges which is the focus of this video. This method is advantageous if you do not want to format the data source as a table. It also works more effectively when using horizontal tables of data. In this video, we will start by creating dynamic charts from vertical data sources and then create them from horizontal data sources.

Glad it helped!
thank you can i do with linear graph?
I was just creating a chart for mapping trends in the indian stock exchange intraday movement, but every video I saw either forced me into converting my chart into a table causing some issued pulling data in, or made me make a chart that was a hot mess. This is the first video Ive seen that helped me make a really professional chart. Thanks so much! Just one question If I delete the data because i want to map the next day movement, excel throws an error and the chart starts from the end of the chart instead of the beginning, is there any way to fix that?
Very Helpful, just wondering can you apply this with multiple variables e.g. Sales and Forecast Sales? Thanks

Yes. Add another named range referencing to the new column. For how many rows to take, the reference will remain to the cell with counta formula
Does this work on bar graphs as well?
A little bit complicated u need to use sumproduct formula greater or less than nothing to not include formula if auto summing like running total, but better than having to turn data into a table.
If we delete some data from the table, then will it automatically adjust the graph or not ??? I need to create a graph where the data table may increase or decrease.
How to do this for combo chart?
Im trying to find this, but instead of adding data to the bottom of a list, I want to be able to add a new column each week and not have to amend the formulas.
Dumb question, but how is this any better than creating a table?
Didn't work..
this is kinda bad, i have a huge quantity of columns!
