want to stranth my 10 feet 9x9 colum because of bad construction... it all ready carry load on 3 store bulding.. l willing to add adtional stranth iron bars and stirups for 9x9 collum and refeling outter cover With concreet.. can you advise how to do this (1) concret cover size (2) other advise

thanks for the video. very helpful I am trying to generate stress-strain data for compression and tension in CDP but it seems my inelastic stains are not correct. in excel I first choose some strains by reasonable arbitrary strain steps and by the stress-strain equation I have I produce stress than other inelastic strain and damage parameters....is it a correct procedure?

Did you activate the element deletion on concrete element Sir? How could it be removed when it fails?

to remove the element: Result/Field Output/Status variable/use status variable/remove elements

one you have the seismic data in horizontal and vertical direction. you can made 2 BCs: one for the horizontal action and other for the vertical action. For each action, you create an amplitude (type tabular). one amplitude correspond to one action of ground motion Edit Boundary condition/ Amplitude/ Tabular

When seperate BC for horizontal and vertical amplitude are used then the acceleration response of any joint (in structure) are getting seperate curve for horizontal direction (A1) and vertical direction (A2) acceleration response in graph. Actually, I need combine effect in sigle curve of horizontal direction (A1) and vertical direction (A2) acceleration response for any joint. So, how to combine both horizontal plus vertical results of any joint simultenously?

Is this possible with LS dyna?

Hi, sorry, i dont know well about LS dyna. But i think if LS dyna has the concrete damaged plasticity model installed itself, you can certainly do it
