Maybe because Dylan thought only on Sex with Kelly when he saw her. But when Dylan saw Brenda it was more deeper. It is his body language.

I hated Dylan & Kelly together, but I admit they had their cute moments and the best one was when Dylan throw the pie in John Sears' face, and then he kissed Kelly ... that was really cute. and I love Brenda for being so cool about him and Kelly.

Man....that pie smash reminded me of when my younger brother smashed a pie in my face,he did it just like that too,but the pie was bigger than that,not to mention a cake right after,I was a big mess and I was hella embarrassed!!😕

@@paulineallard7107 Which episode was that, please? Or do you mean the episode as Dylan said to her they are soulmates? Kellys line at the end of S4 is legendary "Take away the Sex and we have no relationship". The writers exactly knew why Kelly this should tell Dylan.

yes that episode which held so much meaning. and i don't deny this episode in s4 but Kelly meant that their relationship RIGHT NOW HERE only had the sex, not in GENERAL, here they were having issues and so only sex was working but doesn't mean their whole relationship was like that. please at least try to understand some lines and storylines before saying anything

@@paulineallard7107 It really try it to understand. I totally understand why Dylan chose Kelly. With Kelly the life was easier as with Brenda. No Parents, Jackie let them be. Dylan could have Kelly whenever he wanted. I have no doubts Dylan liked Kelly. But I didn't see the deep connection between Dylan and Kelly. In the first 2 seasons they spoke no 3 sentences together and suddenly, over a summer, fell Dylan in love with her? Sorry. Where I see a deep connection is between Kelly and Steve. THEY were the true soulmates. Maybe, it was the background, Luke wanted to work more with Jennie, but I am missing the special thing that Brenda and Dylan have. Sorry, but I will never accept Dylan and Kelly as a real couple. Kelly was a break. Dylan must find his way back to Brenda.

kelly is such a hilariously awful person. she goes behind her best friends back to take her boyfriend, then dumps him to date some idiotic frat guys - them comes crawling back to dylan asking "what happened" i think she is out of her mind
