If anyone is forgetting DJ Giddens, he will fix their memory issues after the first game. DJ is RB1. He'll get 20 carries per game. He's the best RB on the team, and maybe in the conference. He'll play in the NFL when he's done at K-State - most likely after this coming season.

No doubt about it! Total stud. But probably not well known outside of Manhattan and maybe the BIG 12. Gotta get more KSU folks on our msg boards if you want to join for free, Richard! www.heartlandcollegesports.com/members-forum/

Well said, Pete. I loved you talking about value beyond the playing days. That seems to so often be overlooked but the name recognition, connections, and relationships built now and already in place can come together when playing this close to home.

Don't believe the door was ever closed to him by the staff so putting that out there. I think they've had enough experience in recruiting to know confusion and ego in recruiting for young guys. And Dylan knows DJ is the starter because he was told up front what to expect. And we rotate all the players and who says they can't play at the same time as well? You have to rotate to keep players on the field and fresher. And if the state changed how they do things in high school, we could produce quality players in all sports. I'm excited for the fans and their families getting to see them all play.
