I did the same thing with my hair. Dying my hair pink over my green hair from having blue hair. It worked like a charm! The pink faded back to blonde and the green was gone!

I'm going to try this on my daughter. I bleached it but the green won't leave in some areas. I told her it should work, but she fears it will turn brown, but after watching this, I know it will. I will let her watch it and then do it! Thanks for showing us how it works.

Yes mines did too when it faded! Crazy how hair works! But im glad no more green !!

First, this looks AMAZING on you. Second.. I'm so glad you did this. I'm literally putting the same colors over faded green hair! I think I'm gonna try a shadow root 🤔 we will see how that works out. You did great though, thanks!

@@JesusMyhair it worked out pretty well! Although, my "shadow root" was a burgandy that somehow faded green. 🤣 What was really nice is that the fade out of the pink was even cooler than the original color and it gave me a nice "canvas" to work with. Love your content.

I'm going through this same thing today and am terrified I hope I lightened the green enough to do the pink I've read it can turn out muddy brown T T wish me luck! Also I adore your hair and the spongebob tunes!

I dyed my hair lavender and it somehow came out green/blue 😭😭 so I’m putting pink in it tonight to try and cover it hopefully it works like yours did

@@JesusMyhair Yes! I actually just uploaded a video and linked your video as a reference for why I tried it 😅 I did have to use darker than the pink you used, as the roots didn't take as well, but the rest did get to a pastel first round, then the darker pink worked for my roots next round!

I actually did more crazy colors the following year, I just took a break for that year. My hair is a crazy color rn :)
