    I was definitely sorely disappointed on the zombie variety because when it comes down to it dying light 1 already had: Virals Volatiles Toads (spitters are basically a reskin with a slight buff) Demolishers Goons Bombers (they literally just made two versions that do the same thing) Screamers (howlers are quite similar) They basically only added banshees and chargers and then reskinned everything else

    It’s amazing, even with the bugs. The Parkour and OST are Top Teir. Olivier Deriviere did an amazing job, and don’t even get me started on the Dynamic Music. The Stealth is greatly improved and so is the Combat, combining Combat and Parkour = W *The Grappling Hook is Better in DL2 than the first game don’t @ me.* And the Paraglider is an amazing addition to traversal. And Then we get To Jonah Scott, The Voice actor of Aiden Caldwell. He did a fantastic job and I know that Roger Craig Smith and His Mother would be proud, because I am, especially with the fact that he himself came up with all the quips after recording sessions (If memory serves correct) The Game is Amazing, and the one addition I want has already been talked about by Olivier so that is great to see. 7/10 With all the bugs and With Co-op broken I can’t give it anything higher than a 7 and i trust the team at tech land so I think in the future it will be a 9 easily. *Thank You Techland.*

    17:30 I AGREE SO MUCH. It honestly feels like they made a narrative, fired Avellone, rewrote the narrative, and forgot to put the E3 mission in so they forced it at the end. "OH you remember The Colonel? He's here now. And remember driving the car? Well now it's a cutscene rather than a choice." It really is Game of Thrones season 8.

    16:10 definetely agree on that. The story felt sooo rushed in the last 20%. All the nuclear shit was a bad story change, I think they should have somehow kept the 2019 version where you were feeling more that you help the people there rather than just searching for Waltz. When i reached the Epilogue I had the exact same reaction, I was like ALREADY DONE? Also ,IMO the Epilogue was worse than many other missions in terms of experience and story logic. Even with the defects of DL2, overall i still loved it (and still do).

    Agree. I still loved the game, I'm just hoping that the next two story dlcs are as good or even better than "the following" dlc from the first dying light. Hell, I don't even care if they're short, I just want another cool map, few new mechanics, maybe a car again and a more focused story that ties in to the first game better and gives some sort of importance to the zombies (maybe we see a sentient Kyle crane as the night hunter, would be cool af)

    I still have no idea how the missiles had any benefit for Waltz. What does he gain lol how does it help Mia? How does it help his research? Made no sense to me

    Agree on most things, except for the Infected part. They actually need MORE than Banshee and Volatiles. Chargers are barely existent, and Suiciders are only in ONE story mission (afaik). Those two are perfect for chases. Other rare infected are also lacking in presence, especially when you need to farm so much for the trophies.

    They had the best writer to make this story great - Chris Avellone. He helped create my favorite game of all time, Fallout: New Vegas. It is a shame that he was let go from Dying Light 2’s development. He could have made this game what I hoped it was going to be.

    While some parts of the game are better than the first, i’m just not finding it as fun as the first. It feels like a parkour game with Zombies instead of a Zombie game with parkour play like the first.

    They wrongfully fired Chris Avellone and had to deal with rewriting the story for social justice points. The shot themselves in the foot doing so. It very much went the way of destiny where they had this huge awesome narrative and then decided to fire someone and start from scratch. It's a shame too because Chris is an amazing writer and I'm sure his vision for the game would have been extraordinary.

    That's my problem. The story sucks so bad. It reads like a 14 yr old with "which bathroom do I use confusion" wrote it. The rest of the game isn't fun enough to slog through that crap. Why do I want to grind just to watch another dumb, disjointed cutsceen.

    I feel like this is 100% spot on. I can't be mad bc of how much I love DL1 but this review is mirroring exactly what I would say. I'm still in disbelief that they essentially vaulted Volatiles. Which is the soul essence of the game. I think I've seen less than 10 Volatiles in 120 hours of gameplay. I have seen them in level 1 chases but they are nonexistent and bc of this there is no intensity at night. Also these new infected had no real introduction in-game which turned me off and I honestly forgot about the Banshees in-game. I love this game but they really need to step it up. imo

    Thats because Volatiles are light years more lethal than the ones in the original game, even on normal/easy difficulty

    With the Epilogue, it was really disappointing to me. It feels so very out of place, it being the e3 mission is just weird. The renegades should have been more of a faction, along with the Butcher being more of a personality. It really makes you think how much changed and was cut from Avellone, and how much better and fleshed out everything could have been. (also just a side note, wildcard factions should have stayed)

    imo the begining of the game is fantastic and everything you do in old villedor is cool but the closer you get to the end the worse it gets and i agree that the whole epilogue is just weird and im so disapointed in the sunken city the drowners as well they feel like such a rushed and just "worthless" additions when you look at the game as a whole. i do still love the game and the gameplay has me hooked and it will continue to do so for many hours to come lets hope techland pulls throug with the story dlcs

    Volatiles on the street, not roofs. Roofs are supposed to be the safe option at night. I normally avoid nights in DL1 till I got some good skills and weapons. In DL2, I am able to go get some loot at night by sticking to roofs. Maybe volatiles can spawn on roofs once you finish the story missions. But if a beginner has to deal with volatiles from the 1st hr with minimal stamina bar, they would just drop the game.

    @@D-N-0 Here’s the thing I’m TIRED of saying in DL1 there was maybe 2-3 night missions in the WHOLE game. Night was more to have fun and be scared it was optional. In DL2 you HAVE to go out at night half the game missions are at night. If it was as hard as DL1 it would be impossible to do some missions. I’m sure with DLCs they’ll add a “dark zone” to the map that’s infested with volatiles and things I don’t doubt it. Also Volatiles are a lot smarter more calculated so it makes sense they don’t come out unless a lot of ruckus is going on. Hence the chase factor. IDK WHY people don’t understand this

    9:34, the revenant part might be kinda weird, since in their bio it says that they are slow because of their weak legs and because of the wing-shaped tumor they have on his back, which would made them useless in a chase scenario, including that their hability is to boost other infected by creating a toxic cloud, level 4 chase might be cool to be only volatiles and banshees, cool video btw

    Everything you said is on point other than volatiles on roofs they don't need to be around every corner. Just have them wandering around at night in random places especially since they 1 shot ya on hard mode. Bring back Chris Avellone and ff15 the ending section its bad and feels like it's mid story still the only other thing I want is a fallout 4 style survival mode taking care of food water and sleep. Change the dropkick button I love the expert grappling hook mechanic but it's ruined by hitting the button and dropkicking trying to grapple.

    I feel like the combat needs a bit more oomph, there aren't any in-combat finishers and alot of perfect parries and dodges essentially do nothing, aerial attacks you are limited to doing if you're detected and your height. If you're too high up you can't do it and if youre too low you can't, it's also locked to some animation where you press interact rather than just dropping down from above, stealth takedowns are very slow even the 'fast' one. Vault kick is iffy and doesn't do much especially if the target is adjacent to you (feel like a roundhouse to the left or right would do wonders for it fro mos that are adjacent), having to hold crouch to slide is rather inconvenient (i wish there was a toggle for this) as well as an awkward double-tap 'E' drop kick (also wish there was a toggle). Dropkick takes forever to recover from so no point in doing that as on your way back up you're getting ur arse beat and cant even get up in time to do a ground finisher (which is also only triggered by a very jank and brief window) Two of the skills are really just the same thing in parkour. You know which ones im talking about. Dash is like a pointless sprint you can't even keep on. Does anybody even use windmill with that weird capslock binding? Or using the bash skill of holding 'W' and 'G' at the same time breaking your fingers in two? Lots of needed control changes and better hit registrations.

    Yeah this game feels like an objective step back in many ways. I'm playing on PC with a controller and the controls are just convoluted and unintuitive compared to the first game (I need to be holding BLOCK to KICK? Rightio..) Look up an article called "Report: Techland Is Bleeding Talent Due To Autocratic Management, Bad Feedback, And Lack Of Direction" and you'll see exactly why this game is in many ways a step backwards from the first.

    @@phattjohnson lol I started with controller on my PC because I was only using M&KB on DL1, controller would suit it better as it isn’t and FPS so precision really isn’t key. Would help with just reactions and melee but I had to switch back to M&KB for that exact reason. Wtf, to kick you have to hold LB/L1 then press RB/R1 to do it? Two inputs on top of a brief startup animation for both the block and kick too? Just makes it feel SUPER delayed and sluggish. As well as a few other quirks like Survivor Sense being RS/R3 and it wasn’t responsive making it feel like I had to death grip my controller. I eventually said F it and went to M&KB so I could have the luxury of using E to kick BUT during a vault kick it would switch to LMB rather than E which made it confusing. Yeah you could get used to it but it was just more confusing then it needed to be. Just so many little janky inconsistencies. When I first tried to drop kick I was so confused why it wasn’t working. Would miss half the time because you need to double tap, similar with sliding as it’s delayed since you have to hold it and that’s a friggin design choice wtf? It just feels like intentional input lag. The spam F thing for climbing inclined planes it just annoying when on rooftops as it’s like a weird ‘stepping on the brakes’ feeling. I feel like that should be removed once you get the sleek runner perks as it would fit perfectly to it. Jumping off enemies launches you insanely high (which is cool) but it being tied to dash means you have to do multiple inputs for a single action making it feel sluggish and delayed. There’s a ton of little control things that just make it feel like there’s a delay on everything rather than feeling responsive and snappy.

    personally, the chase system is great i love it however enemies such as banshees, i thought they would come at maybe chase level 2. They feel heavily unutalised and would of added more tense to the chases since they can get you quite easily if your not paying attention (i play on hard). When you have also beat the game i wish when your on the ground, bombers would see you straight away ONLY when your in a chase to really make you stay of the street. but its just my opinion i want it more harder. also the double time quest is annoying me ive beat it like 5 times and keeps reseting.

    I skipped the spoilers part because Im still playing it, but from what I've seen its one of the best reviews here on youtube, specially for us that are already consuming lots of content related to the game. Most of reviews were mostly made from a quite neutral perspective (specially the negative ones), it felt like most of them didn't measure their expactations correctly. Your review is about Dying Light 2 how it really is, a game designed by techland that carries the legacy of their previous projects. Your review was made to us that are following dying light 2 through the last months and met your channel in the process, and you couldn't have done better to honour that in this video.     I had an idea with nights and it was to remove chase levels, put howlers on the roofs without their icon, less of them, more stealthly, quicker to react and to howl and let the volatiles roam the streets alongside banshees. The Nights became insanely casual that it is not even a selling point of the game (like the first was), if you want to have something close to original, you have to use proper nvidia filters, which when u use the right one, you get a whole new and more satisfying experience.

Volatiles 1 tape you in hard difficulty and having howlers on rooftops would make the game unplayable for basically all the players in the beginning.When you start to explore the OLD Villador at the beginning your are stupidly underpowered and Volatiles would 1 tape you even on easy mode .You need to be at least level 4-5 to try to take ON Volatiles in the quarantines scripted areas,not mentioning being in hard mode.What you say it's basically trying to have fun by dying 24/7😂

    this video was honestly so accurate it's nuts; I really hope techland sees this video and takes in these considerations, I really enjoyed doing the missions of the story in this game but wasn't satisfied with the dialogue (I also heavily agree with the last portion of the game feeling rushed) and I'm currently just roaming around the city and getting tasks done and it's pretty fun so far; I can't play with friends sadly as they are all on pc and I am on ps5, so that's unfortunate, and I hope they add crossplay sooner rather than later; this review is excellently done and I really hope that techland considers these changes as it would truly re-mould the game into a masterpiece.

    One of the biggest letdowns for me was the map change. I remember the E3 showcase and the map had a dark theme to it, it was so cool I honestly don't see why they removed it.

    In regard to the infected talk, I agree with more banshee encounters. However, I don't agree with the volatile idea. I personally like how rare volatiles are. It makes them seem more dangerous and scary. Another thing I'd like to see is less Howlers. You can't walk any stretch of land without starting a chase.

    @@OniZombies yeah...its bad game design imo. The game tells you, that if you want volatiles, adrenalin, horror etc, you have to go to howler and then run around for few minutes, until level 3. How is that good gameplay? It completely ruins the theme of the game, where night is scary and super dangerous. Also would add some type of zombie, that can endure UV light for some time and fight you even when you are in it. Would spawn only at level 4.

    @@OniZombies It's possible my game is bugged. During my playthrough of the first Dying Light, I constantly had a group of virals on me until I completed the main story. It was painful. Maybe this is a similar situation where the howlers are 5 ft away from eachother and instantly start chases even when I'm on rooftops. To clarify with the virals, it was ALL THE TIME. Like the spawn mechanism kept pumping them out after I killed the previous group.

    actually elysium is really good content idea. it wasnt bombed by chemicals so it may look quite diferent. the city might have exclusive weapon blueprints like last hope actually beeing a blueprint and more story. maybe aiden getting some more powers or adding new skills like sliding down the banner using the knife like in 2018 showcase of DL2. who knows lets just hope this location will be added.

    Great review ,overall i experienced very little bugs and im happy for it. My biggest surpise was the story , just like you said its a massive improvement and a solid story. Sadly the ending doesnt feel cut it is cut, the colonel was so interesting as a character i planned to support him when i first saw him in the 2019demo but got dissapointed when it was only a brief encounter. I really wonder what the 2 story dlcs will bring. Will it be expanding the main story line(highly unlikely if i have to guess) or adding this place elysium?

    After going back through Dying Light 1 (and now, The Following DLC) I can't see how the story in Dying Light 2 is better at all. The characters are all one-note obnoxious stereotypes with very few intersecting arcs (honestly the most memorable part in the first 20 hours is the Stolen Flour side quest) - and who can forget Lawan jumping around like an excited 5 year old when the lights come on? Was this scene supposed to be some kinda narrative climax? 🤣

    I feel like some fight or parkour are really "videogamey" or even worst, sometimes its broken. Or for example when you push a ennemy from the roof, he edge of the build has a hitbox and the ennemy isn"t thrown away. A lot of animations are not well with the environnent. A lot of things like that, but with some polish every thing should be fine ! good video :)

    Ik exactly what you mean, when you kicked Zombies off the roof in DL1 they ragdolled imediately as soon as they got 1 Step from the roof but in DL2 they float in the air stuck in the Animation and as soon as the Animation is over the ragdoll starts, it looks so shitty and takes the fun kicking Zombies off higher places, i hope they polish that kinda stuff

    If I remember correctly in DL1 daytime had way more demolishers and goons roaming the street. They need to do the same here, especially around military convoys. GRE anomalies should have spawned different types of bosses, not only the revenant. Or different GRE anomaly locations could all have revenants but with different mechanics cuz the revenant in the level 3 area evolved and fights differently than the one found in the level 1 area.

    So i played the game once an completed the Story. I was kinda confused that the mission with the colonel was the only one. i wished we had more interaction with the renegades from the colonel because the seemed like Peacekeepers missunderstood. I would love some more post story missions with the renegades or even the PKs. The ending was as you said very rushed. it Kinda annoyed me that game just through you into the epilog. Keep up the good content. watching you since you started posting Dying light 2 content. Really enjoy it. Cheers.

    Techland def got this. We both know that. I do believe that they will do what they did with Early DL1 it was weird at the start but then there was this HUGE update A.K.A. the following update which added new animations, mechanics, better looking graphics etc. The scary thing for me is whether or not people will still be looking at this game after so long & give it another chance once that major update comes out.     I agree with everything you said. I felt a lot the lack of volatiles out there. Night is a kids game compared to DL1. You actually need to make an effort to keep the chase increasing instead of making an effort for escaping the chase. Btw I love this franchise.

    I love Dying Light 2 a ton and don’t think I can ever go back to DL1 cause of it. Easily one of my favorite games of all time, I haven’t played a single other game since Feb 3rd. My only problem is that it often feels too easy but I’m sure in the future they’ll add a harder difficulty like they did in DL1 with nightmare mode. Luckily I’ve barely had any glitches so for the most part my play has been smooth. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us within the upcoming months and years.

    First off, great video! Only at the 8min mark and can tell that you are truly passionate about how to take this game to the next level. Would also love to see more variety of dialogue from friendly npcs. As well as them not all shouting at me all at once. I know Aiden is popular but every person that sees you doesn’t need to talk at the same time. In time this game will continue to bake into the game fans truly want. 🤞🏻❤️

    IMO I liked what they did with nighttime because it made going out encouraged instead of an a lack of paying attention to the clock. By adding volatiles to the roof it would just go back to not going out, because if your on the roof there's volatiles if your on the road, bam a chase now back to volatiles. It just loops back to no one really wanting to be out at night.

    Wait wait wait wait….. did I hear a night runner difficulty??? Like similar to nightmare mode??? I can definitely tell that dl2’s difficulty caters to newcomers. For us veterans we need something that’s harder in my opinion. Beat the game 4 times and hard feels like easy or a knockoff normal mode.

    God DANG I looked forward to this vid - nice work Oni, really doing a lot of work lately 2 things I instantly noticed in this game I dislike: 1. Roof top assets being reused, A LOT. Every single rooftop with loot, is identical (think windmill rooftops) 2. Revenants are boring, even on Hard mode. How come the normal spitter zombie, spits faster than the Revenant? So many issues with that "boss"

    The Revenants should be so much stronger, they need to buff their health and make them equal to the Devastator in my opinion, right now they are pushovers even a normal zombie in the streets is more intimidating 😔

    Most day 1 players and those who loved the franchise enough to pre order won't be still be here in June when the DLC finally drops. I've fully completed the game and I really took my time with 150 hours including a 79 hour first playthrough for the trophies. I just need the broken 960km trophy but I'm bored just redoing the same areas

    Overpromising is one of the main factors that led to its downfall. The combat and parkour are amazing and such an improvement from its predecessor, but the story is almost the same. But what really kept me engaged was Jonah Scott’s voice acting, it was just brutally crucial to Aidens character. The amount of work and dedication Jonah put into it was just amazing. Overall, I wouldn’t get it currently, but wait until a huge patch is released that makes the game polished and playable for all consoles.

    Also, the “competition” isn’t VERY big. Horizon Forbidden West is experiencing just as many bugs as DL2, and Elden Ring is a rinse and repeat of other dark souls game, it’s nothing special but another remake with slightly better graphics.

    A review as if I said it all myself, this was awesome man! A well thought out video and covered every thought I had when playing the game. I would just really hope Techland makes a comeback with a DLC like The Following. I didn't mind the story, thought it was okay but nothing memorable. The Colonel mission shocked me and like you said, had me super confused and had me going "This was the last mission? Really?" No doubt in my mind that they cut out a lot of things, possibly internal disputes. Really REALLY looking forward to a DLC like The Following though, a really do think a HUGE comeback could be made possibly.

    Too add on to what u said about the night chases, chargers and bombers should also come out at the higher lvls and maybe introduce a lvl 5 chase. The only time we got tu see a charger was in the car factory mission which was a waste of a new infected type

    Congratulations, that was a very well informed and insightful dossier on the game, absolutely spot on. As a console player I can tell you with complete honesty that I have never experienced a more frustrating and enraging experience while playing a video game ever, Sad but true .................. I missed those awesome all nighters I used to have with DL1, I was always looking forward with excitement and trepidation to the challenge, I am specially fond of those solo night time explorations of sweaty hands slipping through the controler and white knuckle terror hoping the Volatiles wouldn't spot me. The feeling of rewarding accomplishment I experienced with DL1 was what kept me coming back for more, You built Kyle from the ground up, and as he became stronger you also became embolden and empowered enough to confidently roam Harran's streets and show the Volatiles who's boss............ Gameplay was fluid and extremely enjoyable .......................Unfortunately at this stage the only positive thing I can say about DL2 is how beautiful it looks and sounds...............the soundtrack is sublime.................in console at best is a convoluted, unresponsive and sluggish combo of buttons commands that tend to utterly fail in crucial moments when you need them the most, not once, not twice but many times...................Quiting the game several times halfway through a session is an integral part of gameplay for DL2.....................Do I need to add more ..........hardly.................I still love it though ...................I am sure these issues will be amended with time.

    Definitely agree with this review. Big fan of Dying Light 2 and was well worth the wait being a big fan of the first, but so many missed opportunities. The current Night time mechanics and the lack of engaging endgame content (it's a bit filler and repetitive) are my 2 biggest dislikes at the moment. Really hope future expansions and patches fill in all the gaps of the game. Dying Light 2 could absolutely be a masterpiece with the foundation they've set.

    Playing on my 2nd save and I got so excited for a Banshee spawn... 49hrs after the prologue 😅 I agree with most of what you said but I'll disagree with the volatiles part. I believe roaming volatiles are partly to blame for most players skipping night in DL1. And of course it being super dark, I'm one of the them who skipped night. My reason mainly is because one of the updates added the alpha volatile, and eventually I had dozens of them roaming around so I just decided to skip night from then... My first playthrough took a while because I was selfless, kept choosing to help rather than advance. We have basically played the same amount of time, I'm over 160hrs both saves considered. When I saw the epilogue message it surprised me, and I do agree the ending was rushed. I wasn't expecting the Colonel to be such an honest and somewhat peaceful guy, moreso someone like him leading people worse than savages.

    the easiest fix is for techland to release a free C-Engine Development Kit. and let the modders run wild. turn this into the skyrim/fallout modding community. cuz techland games have had non existent modding communities due to their game engine being closed source and hard to mod.

    I gave the water tower to the PKs because the no talking glitch happened and I had no clue what was happening so on my way to the bazaar church running from some volatiles I vaulted inside, figuring that the lights not being there was a glitch until I realized that I vaulted in as opposed to run inside of the building. Nearly killed me...

    I do think the epilogue is where you can team up with the renegades and unlock their faction. It was also stated that the renegades have inhibitors in them. But I don’t see them coming close to aiden’s feats. They should atleast be stronger than a regular bandit.

    Gotta agree with the zombies. When I first saw the banshee in the beginning I was thinking "oh God night is gonna be terrifying! what else will there be!"..... I was only in a chase twice dying my playthrough. Never got past chase level 1. Aidens a super soldier. He could handle a challenge.

    Things to fix dying light 2: - Have volatiles roam freely during the night but increase there spawn rate the higher your chase level. - More quest and interesting characters for the renegades. - Make the story longer with much better pacing particularly near the end. - Add in volatile nest like the ones they had dying light the following - Have vehicles that you can drive but only in certain districts or zones. - Have a faction reputation system. - More random events. - Bring back wild card factions. - More quest for the sunken part of the city. - Improve the drowner infected don't just make them fast bombers. - Make the players actually care about Mia (I noticed a lot of people didn't which kinda surprised me).

    You can tell by the beginning that they came in ambitious and excited to make the game but once you get to the central loop they really rushed the game, the night runner hook basically made the radio tower game feel like a game physics tutorial for a mission that was meant to be hard, hearing the buzz about a volatile nest and only running into a single group a volatiles really was really disappointing and lack of variety in the infected sucked

    To preface, i'm having an absolute blast with the game - it's incredibly fun, and i think they've made great improvements over DL1 in regard to most of the aspects of the game that i really enjoy and care about (DL1 is one of my all-time favourite games). But, absolutely agree with literally everything you said here; perfect summary. All the points you made and suggestions for improvements are things i've thought myself while playing. None of them are game-ruining. They don't make me want to stop playing, but they do break immersion etc. I absolutely wish they would make nighttime 'harder' with more special infected. Love the idea of volatiles roaming the rooftops - great idea! I've actually seen quite a few banshees throughout the game, but i think that's because i always go after the 'special infected' thay appear at nighttime, and whenever a banshee spawns, it feels exactly like a bolter; like 'prey' that i'm supposed to catch (which i usually one/two-shot with my bow) as opposed to something that's hunting me, which is what i want it to be. I want the challenge and the feeling of fear, the feeling that one wrong move will be my demise. Granted as a DL1 vet (max legend rank etc), DL2 was never going to be 'hard'. But it can still *feel* like it's challenging without genuinely being super difficult. Again, having said that, I'm absolutely loving the game and having just as much fun as i was hoping for! Overall, kudos to techland, and can't wait to see what additions the bring to DL2 over time

    I totally agree with your points. I was kinda disapointed about one thing, not being able to choose the audio language on Xbox One. Maybe it will be out later i don't know, but i had to turn my console fully in English to hear Jonah. But i loved this game very much. I'm almost 100 hours now since February 10th. And it's hard for me to stop. I didn't have a lot of bugs besides audio ones on coop and crashes. And yes the epilogue is coming way too early, like it's a lot of information and i didn't wanted it to be over like i was so depressed at the end. It's a true struggle not to do it again lol. But i'm very thankful and happy that Techland is listening to us and to finally be able to play DL2 after almost 7 years of waiting (for me).

    The banshees never spawned in for me in the first play through but when I started a new game they were everywhere.

    The farther I come in the game, the better it gets. They didn't lie when they said there something about swinging a meaty weapon. Almost addictive. And have you tried the Inferno mode with the blast function where you press right trigger and A, (on the Xbox)? I love it. It's powerful. Almost like having a gun. Very helpful.

    9:01 - in what world is this kind of encounter an improvement over the 'night time experience' from DL1? "Yeah I'm just gonna float up here for a bit.." followed by the 'air stomp' 🤣

    Idk why anyone else hasn’t mentioned it but the volatiles actually do spawn on the rooftops, that is, only after I completed the main mission, I guess that happens as after you complete the main mission the game tells you that combat will be more difficult.

    I loved this review really good giving ideas to techland to make this game the ultimate best. Love you Oni i even think youre the best youtuber on terms of dying light 2 . I just want them to fix the grey and frozen AI on ps4 thats all. And i would be very happy, but i think they dont relly care about ps4 and old gen players :(

    My biggest bug is when the ground all of the buildings disappear and exposes the void and all thats left is anything thats not actually connected to the buildings or the ground and im left with quitting out completely or commit and do hardcore parkour

    In regards to the gerard funerals, I had quite a funny one, they were having a funeral for gerard on the streets surrounded by infected... with a bandit group hanging another dude 15m away XD

    That wildcard faction you mentioned might be the Carriers Guild, you have to talk to the guy in green at the terminal first then the girl in green at the ship and you can do carriers guild missions

    About the Banshee's surely they are missing but i found a spot where you can find some, right next to the vnc tower where the first rocket exploded

    I believe the improvements you mentioned would pay off tenfold in the game if they were implemented. Great assessment, great video and very fair. I love the game and hope Techland can add some of these changes. We'll see what happens.

    @@OniZombies In the first DL the bandits had no armor and by the end they were heavily armored and looked different, we should do the same for the second game, loved the golden and black masks and all the diverse types instead of bald renegade number 328

    One thing about the Howler is that I want them to be able to much faster and more easily detect you. And about the chases, each Howler should be able to instantly make the chase jump a level. For example, you started a chase at lvl 1 and you're running around and suddenly you hit another Howler, that Howler should be able to increase your chase level by 1 point instantly. This is such a small feature but would make chases and especially Howlers way more scary.

    @@OniZombies it makes Howlers more dangerous and chases more intense. Currently, it takes ages to reach a new chase level and intensity but this small feature would help alot (imo)

    I’m definitely gonna remember this game forever. I played on ps5 and expirenced no game breaking bugs or really any at all. The jankyness I didn’t really even notice, I would 100% recommended this game

    exactly great review, i really want to see banshee and volatiles on the rooftop and literally everywhere at night, it's okay not so much of them but at least higher spawn rate on the building and rooftop. please send this request to techland hahha,or maybe at least add difficulty to this nighttime that we can choose that special zombies are be able to roam on the rooftop and inside buildings that much higher than only on the street.
