Agree!❤
Looked intimidating at first, but your instructions make it look very do-able. You're a star! Hugs, angel, MomK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗
Just putting an Ephemera holder together for myself now... doing the covers so thank you for the tips on the pockets... Cheers for sharing...
Happy Sunday Barbara! Hugs! 🤗🤗🤗
Barbara, as always, you come up with the most beautiful solutions 👏🥳 Thank you 😘🙏❤
Very nice idea with the fabric cover and the fabric Strips.
Love this so much just brilliant. Thank you Barbara.
So wonderful as always ! I just love all your beautiful organizing ideas, and this is definitely in the top. I found I spent too much time trying to find dollar store organizers. And you are always saying make something instead. Not only does it look beautiful, but you are surrounding yourself with even more inspiration! Thanks! Hugs 🤗❤️
Beautiful epherma holder 😍❤
Beautiful and perfect for your fodder! I love that you used the strip that you usually cut off! I think it looks cool and has character! Enjoy!!!
Your genius boggles the mind...very well done...I wish to have something like what you made, hopefully, I will attempt to do one, someday....Thank you for sharing your creative ideas with us........😻
Lovely idea to keep organized...😍
Fantastic idea. So easy to find what you need❤
so cute and handy!!!!
Fantastic! This looks so organized and pretty. I need to make several of these so I’m not looking through piles of ephemera and wasting time.
Just lovely 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰
That was super fun! I love things that organize! Thank YOU!
Love the style and I also love your techniques!
Very inspiring! Thank you!❤
I love that you're using things you already have. I agree, it needs plain card. Yes tape would gum your sewing machine up and maybe jam the needle🙈. Oh no 🙈 I'm always spilling🙊. It's a great way to store collage fodder!look great, super handy! Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
Very nice, like the clear pages
So gorgeous! Ty!❤
Barbara, this turned out so pretty with all the pretty ephemera you made. Love it. TFS!❤
Oooh this is awesome
Happy Sunday Barbara, love your video. Awesome idea . Have a great day. 💞💕

Amazing! Thank you for the tutorial!

Barbara has the cutest pixie giggle doesn’t she 😁 Makes me smile every time I hear it
Love this journal❤
Excellent idea and tutorial. Hugs and blessings, 🤗🇨🇦❤️
I like how the ephemera holder came out -- and I'll do something similar with my ephemera which are in pieces all over!
Pretty organization! Love it 💕
Love this.
Excellent! I made one of these too while taking Fodder school
Very nice Barbara.
Bin schwer begeistert ❣️👍😍
You make this look so easy❣️ 🤗💖🦋
That worked out nicely!
Why cut the left edge of the original large piece that is folded on one edge. Cut into number of pieces you need. Sandwich the cardstock between the front and back. Stitch bottom and sides of each pocket. You will stitch all the pockets at one time and no registration/ positioning marks needed.
Sehr gute Idee! ❤ 😘😘
I feel like we are always trying to find organization solutions for ephemera 😂 I just spent some time yesterday organizing my ephemera in a central location as I kept spending too much time looking for what I wanted. this book turned out great 😃👍
Well done!
I like the clean, modern look. It shows off the ephemera beautifully 🤩
Fun video, you creating your DYI Ephemera Storage Book, updated version. I love it. Think we all need one of those. Mine are all in bags. I can never find what I need. Where I put it.
I LOVE IT!!🤩 Such inspiration! Ty.💗💖💗
Irgendwie entwickelt man alles immer weiter. Ich finde deinen Holder super stylisch! 👍 Ein schöner Verwendungszweck für das Cover! 💚 Liebe Grüße Nicole
Great idea!
Love it, inspired to make my ownxx🥰🥰🥰🥰
Barbara:you are certainly getting organized. I certainly like this last fodder booklet to house your most interesting papers. Carol from California
Thank you
This is great! And perfect timing! I promised to make my sister an ephemera holder and have been struggling with how to do it, this style would be perfect! Im going to use an old textbook for the cover, so its nice and big 😊

Works for me!😊
very nice!! thanks for sharing!! 💜💜💜
Beautiful and inspiring, as always! Thank you, Barbara!
I love this!😊
Love it
Love how you used what you had. I have a ton of backgrounds but they are stuffed away and they get forgotten. Maybe this would be a better way to store them? Thanks for sharing.♥️
This is such a smart and practical idea. The ephemera journal is really great. Thanks for sharing.
Yay! Love this version! 😍 I finally made my first storage book following your last tutorial!! I made one for my sister as well. My sewing machine hates me now but it's done and I am so happy with it. :) Thank you for all the beautiful inspiration!! 🥰🤗
Thanks for sharing the tutorial for your ephemera holder! It’s beautiful 🥰!
Love this journal now, it sure was worth the remake! 💕🇨🇦
Great tutorial for your ephemera holder...love how it turned out, especially filled w/ your amazing collage fodder!! 🩵💛🩷
Love this as I’m doing more art journaling these days. Thank you ❤

I really like your instructions for making an ephemera album. Will definitely want to try this💕
Your timing is perfect! I am just starting out with junk journaling and just this morning I was looking for ideas! This is perfect, Thank You for sharing ❤. Just a thought, you can still use the old book, put a piece of plain paper in the pocket.
Love this!!! The fabric is awesome and your collage folder is beautiful!❤
Love this! Can’t wait to make one! Thank you for the inspiration!
Very fun watching you put your new ephemera holder together. Enjoyed your flip thru of your old one too. What a big change in your style for sure....maybe you can pass the one you don't use any more along to someone just starting out.😅
I was thinking that the big pockets might be too big but they’re fantastic & looks like they’ll fit heaps of things. Awesome ephemera album!
This is a very good idea. I am not sure I can do it . But I will give it a try 😊😊

Pls refer to the video linked in the description box. It took place in Vienna in June.
Ephemera
Nice tip on removing embroidery thread from the skein. This always confuses me and end up with a mess. I have ephemera stored across 3 handmade books and binder, I aim to use all of them in one art journaling session but not always possible due page size. It's the leftover scrap s while bothers me as always keep g rowing faster than I can physically use. I never thought of using fabric on spine of 2 pages it would be stronger than using strip scraps. I had to add extra pocket on the cover because the books get filled up very quickly.
❤❤❤
Maybe, the bell is my most favorite part of the holder sweetie 🤣 just kidding. Its beautiful and im sure you’ll change the papers inside as time goes by and that's a good thing right? Sending a big hug❤
💜
❤❤
Thx so much! This this such a great idea. Why always buy stuf while we can do it ourselves with your help?!
I am wondering whether the plastic pockets would tear away from the thread over time - have you ever used laminated plastic or clear overhead projector sheets to make really sturdy pockets? Or is it not really a problem?
@49dragonflies

It hasn’t been a problem with the previous ephemera book, so I think this should be fine.

ITS a5? Plastic single or double?

Yes and there are single plastic layers.
I love this idea and I will definitely use it!! Here is what I use to store my embroidery threads skeins instead of struggling with them = never regretted the time spent winding them on the cardboard pieces... amazon ArtBin 6840JN Floss Finder Box, Sewing & Embroidery Organizer, [1] Plastic Storage Case, Clear
