i got a visa easily as they know me already from the media i guess. you can go visit and submit an application first. then they will send it to asmara and they will let you know the ministry gives permission to process your visa.
also you can visit the eritrean embassy in India, i heard that there is an easy process ]

വൃത്തി അത് നമ്മുടെ ഇന്ത്യ കഴിഞ്ഞേ ഒള്ളു... അയ്യോ ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു വൃത്തി ഇല്ലാത്ത നാട്.... എല്ലാ സജീകരണം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും അതിന് നിയമം ഇല്ല... ഹെൽമെറ്റ്‌.. സീറ്റ് ബെൽറ്റ്‌.. മതം.... വൃത്തിക്ക് വേണ്ടി ഒന്നും ചെയ്യില്ല...
Asmara is the place where I spend my childhood and schooling. Cannot forget the memories i still have about this once beautiful place and the people. Isahak, tasfai, lethesoos, goyi and numerous others. Love to see this place once again. Miss the mutton curry and Inchara.

1982 ൽ ഞാനുണ്ടായിരുന്നു അസ്മാരയിൽ. റോമിന്റെ പുത്രി എന്നായിരുന്നു അസ്മാര അന്ന് അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നത്. വൃത്തിയിലും ഭംഗിയിലും സൗകര്യങ്ങളിലും ഈ പട്ടണത്തോട് കിട പിടിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സ്ഥലവും ഇന്ത്യയിലോ ആഫ്രിക്കയിലോ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. അന്നിത് എത്യോപ്യയുടെ ഭാഗമായിരുന്നു. എറിത്രിയയുടെ വിഭജനത്തോടെ ആ രാജ്യം തകർന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ മുസ്ളീം ഭൂരിപക്ഷ രാജ്യമാണിത്. ഈ പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ കാഴ്ച 41 വർഷത്തിനുശേഷം എന്നെ ദുഖിപ്പിക്കും. അതിഗംഭീരങ്ങളായ കഫേകളും ബാറുകളും ഹോട്ടലുകളും പൂന്തോട്ടങ്ങളും കൊണ്ട് അസ്മാ രാ എന്നെ വിസ്മയിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.
