I'm just so proud of Nyle. I know how much it meant to him that Carrie Anne learnt sign language because nobody knowing sign language in the house on America's Next Top Model made him feel lonely and he couldn't have an interpreter with him at all times. I remember how happy he was when Lacey wanted to learn.

It's so crazy to see Nyle like that, he's really open but he's in his own world entirely at the same time! You don't realise how closed off deaf people are until they're surrounded by non-ASL speaking hearing people

You would think that they could at least caption their videos especially since Nyle won and he might actually want to watch the video.

Hope Mark is back next season! DWTS won't be the same without him! Mark so deserves an EMMY..... with all the brilliant mind blowing choreography this season & prior seasons, it's been long overdue!!!

The audience wasn't prompted by ABC on purpose. They have "bullied" and taunted Paige in these subtle ways all season. ABC/GMA has displayed rude, bullish, and disgusting behavior towards Paige.

Paige is obviously the better dancer, but then again she admitted to having 13 yrs prior dance experience so that's a given. Nyle as far as we know has never danced and wowed every week!

I enjoyed Nyle and I think the finals could've went either way to be honest. But, they BARELY talked to paige; and she got 2nd. I think they only talked to her 2 times out of the whole showing. disrespectful

I literally feel so bad for Paige and Mark. You can neither of them feel like being there. Obviously Nyle gets all the attention because he won obviously, and since Ginger is the GMA princess she gets attention. Paige and Mark got shafted. And they deserved to win.

I agree with you 110% Paige & Mark are being treated by GMA like they didn't place second!!! On the other hand this no surprise, considering among their colleagues who were on DWTS, Ginger clearly got the most promo & attention! What is bothersome is they are doing a job, finding it unethical in every aspect! Sad but I believe these GMA hosts find nothing wrong with their demeanor! What a shame:/

Am so sick of GMA! Even the audience were not prompted to applaud!?!. They made it look like they the hosts had to prompt the audience!! Mark & Paige you made season 22 the best yet! You guys were killin it each week, making DWTS so worth watching multiple folds more than ever. Without you both Paige & Mark, this season would not have been this amazing!

Ugh, I was so happy she didn't win last year! The over promotion for her on GMA was absurd. Nyle and Paige were a deserving final 2, but Wanya should have been in the finals over Ginger Zzzzzzz.... her dances were so not memorable. Val really didn't seem into that partnership at all.

there was someone signing for him, his voice is heard speaking for nyle when he was talking about needing to work on his cooking if he wants to be on top chef. I think sometimes it would probably be difficult to follow even with the interpreter when there are many different voices and figuring out who is saying what.

She should be good since she's had 11 yrs of dance (as she says she danced before she turned to wrestling) and Nyle has no dance experience.

It's very hard to compare male and female dancers in this type of competition. The role of the male dancer is to highlight and support his partner, to make her look good. The role of the female is to be the center of attention. Paige was supposed to have more style and be more "out there" so it is going to make her look like a better dancer.

I totally agree! Paige was beyond & Mark's choreography was incredibly brilliant super creative!

Paige was by far a better dancer and alot sexier than all the others this season loved her.

I wonder what the UFC is going to have to pay Paige now...$$$$

This is a very one sided interview. Shame on you GMA for not doing a professional job and portraying the winners. While Ginger was a very good dancer, she did not win and your failure to fairly portray the winner and second place runner up is a professional shame on your part. Maybe it's time for some new hosts. Who cares if your daughter was inspired to write a paper about deafness. Deafness has been around for all of mankind. It is more than obvious that Nyle is uncomfortable in the setting, and your inability to converse with him adequately is a crying shame!

That's nice and all but everybody knows that Nyle was an awkward, stiff dancer. Paige was the better dancer, closely followed by Wanya. Ginger was just overpimped. Nyle won it on sympathy alone. I mean, I'm pleased for Nyle . . . but he should always remember that he won it because he is deaf, not despite it.

Nyle is a great for someone who has never had dance experience, not to mention also for someone who can't hear the music. Paige is great because she has dance experience. Nyle didn't win for sympathy votes. The man worked hard every week and deserved it.

Apparently Nyle is deaf and you are blind. He did not win on sympathy, he was a great dancer, if people won on sympathy, Noah Galloway and Amy Purdy would have won. You are just bad mouthing him because the person you wanted didn't win.

I don't think it was sympathy actually. A lot of people chose to vote for Nyle because Paige had 13 years of dance experience which was highlighted in one of her packages not that long ago. Her mother owned a dance studio. I noticed a lot of people on social media mentioning it and saying they were going to vote for someone else. Wanya had a lot of energy and showmanship and I think people mistake that for being a great dancer. He was good, but a bit overhyped IMO. THough I don't understand why more people didn't vote for him because a lot of people seemed to have liked him...... but he was in jeopardy for like 2 weeks. Then he messed up one dance and it caused him to be eliminated. Honestly, I think more people started talking about him on social media after he was eliminated. I didn't see that many people talking about him before.

Paige was the best dancer not just for this season but the past 21 seasons as well! DWTS being a dance competition,should've Paige as the champion! Ppl vote for different reasons other than purely dancing , hence the champion is NOT necessarily the best!!!

+ilcahp I voted for Paige bcoz she danced & performed the best & made the season phenomenal! Mark's choreography was beyond awesome each week!I didn't care if Paige. had some dance background! She was not the only one on board this season or prior seasons to have had some dance experience! Rumer, Alphonso, Riker, Nicole, to name a few were too, in fact some professionally danced. This season, Jodie & Ginger did too! Not all who got dance experience has that IT factor that Paige does! That is what made her stand out. Not all ORIs can choreograph as amazingly as Mark did fir Paige!

Peta broke the rules!!!!! ...she did not choreograph the free style dance at all...!!! She had another professional contemporary dance choreographer come in and do it for her!!!! Go back and look at the preview right before they danced and you will see that. Shame on Peta ...she cheated!!!. ....She had someone else do her job!!!

PETA does not really impress me with her choreography! She's pretty good with waltz but that is about it! I love Karina, Lindsay, & Sharma among the females! Used to love Edyta,this is her 1st season since she came back but was voted off way too early!

She isn't the first person to have outside help with choreography. Mark also had a choreographer come in and work on their freestyle too.
