I can confirm, Mr. Robinson was my art teacher in high school. I graduated in 07. He was respectful and cool. I always imagined he smoked pot. So the fact he had gummies solidifies that thought!

🚨A senior citizen drove his brand new Mercedes to 100 mph, looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a police car behind him so he floored it to 140, then 150, ... then 170, ...Suddenly he thought, "I'm too old for this nonsense !" So he pulled over to the side of the road and waited for the police car to catch up with him . The officer walked up to him, looked at his watch and said, "Sir, my shift ends in ten minutes. Today is Friday and I'm taking off for the weekend. If you can give me a good reason that I've never heard before for why you were speeding. I'll let you go." The Man looked very seriously at the police man, and replied ; "Years ago, my wife ran off with a policeman, I thought you were bringing her back." !!! The Cop left saying, " Have a good day, Sir" 😂🚔🦺⚠🚨

Though he blew a .079, that is the less reliable PBT result. A Trooper poured out a drink and recovered (3) beers. Some of y’all are defending this guy because he blew below the limit. However, what will he blow in 30 minutes if he’s still on his way up? He was also under the influence of MMJ Gummies. Food for thought.

I used to perform BA testing for an industry as part of my nursing job. I’m surprised they didn’t perform a second test in 15 minutes. The MJ gummies were not a good addition…probably why he appeared impaired.

It was the MJ gummies combined with alcohol that probably made him impaired, even through his BA was below the legal limit of .08. He should not have been driving, and should not have left initially. Nice guy though. Glad no one got hurt.

Years ago I worked on an inpatient detox unit and this was pretty much a daily occurrence. Some guys would come in raising hell, but the next morning they were usually pretty ashamed of themselves. Not all bad people, just alcoholics doing what they do. Hopefully this man will accept help before he gets himself killed or someone else on the roadways.

had a good friend who was a cop and he said without a doubt the worst drugs they ever deal with is alcohol. he said he'd rather death with weed anyway of the week than drunk people. we really have a serious health problem. we need to start figuring a way to stop stigmatizing alcoholism and get people treated. if you drink alcohol and dont end up as an alcoholic, its simply because you got lucky.

I'm a volunteer firefighter/paramedic and I've seen the aftermath of what these people can do to innocent people. My girlfriend is an attorney at our county courthouse and she's seen a lot of this too. I hope he watches this video so he can see what an idiot he really looks like and the condition he's in. The ASP Trooper remained professional throughout, HOWEVER he needs to learn that not everyone is limber as he is. An *elderly* person may not be able to enter the back seat of a vehicle without assistance, especially with one's hands awkwardly handcuffed behind their back. Telling someone they need to do some yoga or something is not at all helpful. ALSO, probably all the officers need to review the standards for giving the standardized field sobriety tests, which include: "There are certain people who should not be asked to perform the walk-and-turn and one-leg stand tests: those over the age of 65, more than 50 pounds overweight or who have a physical disability that would preclude them from doing so." Other than that, good job, guys!

Lol, all states should pass a law that after 65 year's of age, no officer can request a field sobriety test and or be cited for not being able to take one because of our old aging bodies. I don't drink or do drug's and even with a good night's rest, I wouldn't pas a field sobriety test. Lol. And,....a field sobriety test is not accurate with the officer's own interpretation. They don't have a doctor's degree to have the correct assessment of fiscal diagnosis of any degree of assessment. That my assessment and I'm sticking to it! Lol. But in saying this,....I pray for our Officer's for safety out there! :)

The officer did not act professionally. And AR 15s?! for an old man suspected of drunkenss at a top speed of 50 mph?! Disturbing! That's the way they do things in West Memphis. Pathetic. This whole thing could have been handled more diplomatically. Shame on you.

  • @bills1613

ASP are way too eager to PIT, or "wreck out" vehicles as the trooper stated he was about to do to this suspect! ASP cause more of a danger to the public and suspects by acting without due regard for the safety of the public than many many of the suspects they "wreck out". This guys driving in NO WAY would have justified being "wrecked out". ASP are out of control and with this being an ongoing practice obviously are not being held accountable for their reckless and dangerous actions and attitude. And unfortunately most of the sheep come here and applaud it. I just hope it never happens to you and you learn the hard way about not keeping authority in check and accountable for their actions.
