It will certainly be his most challenging role, but his acting chops are insanely unreal in their ultimate realness and will really be a more real Dwayne Johnson ultimately. I gotta know, what does Dwayne Johnson have against losing? I mean, if he lost a fight in a movie, it'd actually do some good. Look at avengers: infinity war. The heroes lost in that movie and millions loved that movie.

@giyuutomioka6974 I hear he has a no lose contract set up. Meaning if he is in a movie involving a fight of any kind, he can’t look weak or even let the other guy have more punches in than him. Not just him though, Vin Diesel and Jason Statham also have No Lose contracts in every movie they star in. I don’t know if it’s ego or a masculinity thing, but I think it’s just dumb, because if you’re watching a movie with action and or suspense, and any of these three characters are in the movie, you already know how it’s gonna go.

I don’t blame Ryan for getting pissed off at him. Showing up late for a movie production can cause lots of problems, especially when there’s a deadline to be met.

It's amazing when someone can act so humble until the limelight shines a bit bright in their direction and then all decency goes out the window, sad.

Perfect example of main character syndrome. It doesn't matter how big you are or how much power you have, you are NOT the main character...... the human race is....

What are you talking about? If you really think the Rock cares about his character losing you have never seen the right movies with the Rock. More like because he's yoked and is way bigger than most actors the executive producers probably deliberately put that in the contract so they dont piss off the writers who may also have strong creative control.

The Rock, Jason Statham, Vin Diesel, Jason Monoa and multiple others have congrats l contracts saying they can't lose or if they do then not my much

Shazam wasnt even that good of a movie at least Black Adam had Rock and Pierce Brosnan. Nobody wanted to invest money in a Shazam vs Black Adam movie despite reasonable viewer demand so they use a contract. Why would the Rock who has played a homosexual and a bad guy give a shit what happens to a character he's playing. Its because he's ripped as fuck and it would look stupid for a guy his size to get tossed around. Even action movies with women have women doing less tossing men around like its nothing and actually having to use technique or weapons.

​@cuckertarlson5310 it's literally common knowledge at this point that Vin, Jason, and Dwayne have clauses in their contracts about how much punishment they can take in their movies. I've seen a majority of their movies and they 100% make it obvious that their egos can't handle a loss in anything. But since we're apparently not watching the right movies that show them having their asses handed to them why don't you point us in the direction of those movies? List 20 movies for each actor that shows them being bodied.. He literally refused to star in Shazam because his character had to lose. Black Adam is a villain! Oh wait that's right, Dwayne also can't play the bad guy in his movies either so they changed Black Adam's background and made him an anti-HERO. Shit is corny asf!

@@DaddyAnarky Doom, (The Sequel to Get Shorty) No Pain No Gain, Mummy Returns. In Doom the Rock is the villain and he losses. Mummy Returns he loses in the beginning and loses at the end and is the villain. In the Get Shorty sequel he's a gay guy getting thrown around by John Travolta and he's Vince Vaghns bitch. I dont really watch a whole lot of Statham so you might have me there.

Dwayne Johnson had been a good person for so long that hearing stories like this makes me sad. I hope he steps back and humbles himself soon.

Don't know about DCEU, Black Adam movie was considered basically a good Morbius film at best. And DCEU was doomed from the start. The only movie that could've been saved was Sazam 2 which was doomed to failure after Gunn announced the DCU
